Quando mi chiesero di andare al concerto di Miles io conoscevo solo il vecchio Miles e pur riconoscendo la sua grandezza dissi che mi sarei annoiato ad ascoltare 2ore del vecchio jazz se pur suonato dal grande M.mi dissero vieni fidati è un qualcosa di completamente diverso da ciò che pensi.per fortuna mi sono fidato ho ascoltato 2 ore di musica che ancora oggi è attuale era l’inizio della fusion Unione di jazz blues rock elettronica e poi eseguita da questi musicisti qualcosa di indimenticabile

The Beethoven of modern jazz - I think there are many parallels: both men's exploration of new forms (or reworkings of older formats) and new sounds, the dynamic power of their work, the revolutionary impact they had in creating new styles and idioms, their constant struggle to get their music heard but also to get some decent economic return on it (Beethoven struggled with publishers and conductors, Miles with his record label people) - and their ability to engage with the very building blocks of music and test their relationships.
