@zecanard21 күн бұрын
@@RoadtrippinwithTakacs It was actually the northern half that I didn’t enjoy much, but that was in part due to the glare of the mid-morning light. The southern half I found just as gorgeous as the amphitheater trails (Peekaboo, Queen’s Garden, etc.). I was shocked to see Gray and Preston so grown up!

Does the restroom have showers for public?
@RoadtrippinwithTakacsАй бұрын
Yes. You have to go to the general store to take a shower. They give you a coin for $3, and the shower lasts 8 minutes. It's open to everyone and is a few minute drive from the campground.
@MyTentLifeАй бұрын
@@RoadtrippinwithTakacs awesome thanks. I’m looking to go full retirement next year and not pulling my camper out there but I have a nice new tent and will be staying in the tent thru summer. Doing LTVA in Az for the winter. I notice that sunset is first come first serve on their tent sites. They don’t have water and electricity at the sites right? I’m going solar. North looked like there is a lot of pine trees which I love pines but a lot of shade. So solar could be a struggle. What is sunset like as far as trees etc etc , if you been there.
@RoadtrippinwithTakacsАй бұрын
That sounds awesome! 👍 I haven't been to Sunset in 20 years. Sorry, I don't remember too much except waking up in a tent one snowy morning with 20 ravens outside to greet us. 🤣 We like to scout using the satellite view in Google Maps.
