Hola, que marca y modelo de sky son? Serviría para alguien de 185cm y 90kg? Me puedes recomendar algún modelo para esas medidas? Gracias!

Man, where does this happen? The sun is up fairly high, yet the water is still glass and there are no other boats. By 9 am at my lake it's like a game of dodge ball, especially heinous with all the surf barges out there.

I wonder if the cart can be made so that the jetski is lower so that it fits in a truck with a topper
@jackf13793 жыл бұрын
Why do you hold the rope like that? Just wondering. Im new to water skiing, is there a benefit or something?
@tilastaco14403 жыл бұрын
Not really it just depends on what you find comfortable 😊
@Alexa-xe3yl3 жыл бұрын
there is a diffrence if you hold the the rope like that it releases the pressure of the rope from your forearm and spreades it across your whole arm, therefore you can keep going for a longer period of time, it also makes the water cut a little bit easier if you want to go with one arm

Do you start with both legs in or do you drag your one leg behind
@gavinburkett58294 жыл бұрын
You start with both legs in and squatted down some people get up with 2 skis and throw one off once they are up
@chi-townconcerts34854 жыл бұрын
Gavin Burkett interesting, I just learned to get up with one foot in, and letting the other foot drag behind until I’m out of the water
@shawnreems4934 жыл бұрын
@@chi-townconcerts3485 I did that when i started to learn how to ski the transition is pretty simple. All about squatting and then just standing up. Bigger guys usually need to learn on a tower until they figure it out
@ianpapke8044 жыл бұрын
@@chi-townconcerts3485 Just personal preference, I start with both in, my dad and mom both drag one.
@bridomine99 Жыл бұрын
In the past most learned dragging a foot, but with today's boats (more power) and higher performance skis, most prefer double booted skis to both in.

I have seen pictures of the slalom course that used to be on our lake, and I remember the one that I skied on a different lake and try to make a mental course.
@k_m_z_3 жыл бұрын
Technically no, he is riding a single ski in open water. You can ride a slalom course on anything, a "slalom ski" is what enginerds decided is the best shape to make it through but wakeboards and combo skis both score points on a slalom course. Without a course you're just turning, and I'd argue to some, it can be much more fun 😉

While getting up on the one ski, do you get sprayed by water in the face?
@samryan77304 жыл бұрын
Roblox Rules depends on your size and your technique. The bigger and heavier you are the more spray you will make but if you use your whole body to get yourself out of the water you will make less spray than if you just use your arms.

This is very nice. I plan on posting the video of my cart build soon. But one question, is it able to turn at all when moving it or are you kinda having to pick up the nose and point it where you want? Reason I ask is because I have a heavy three seater

bridomine99 didn't realize it was a budget build , if I didn't have to vehicles and had to pull my ski and boat at the same time I'd do it too

jesse king ...no big deal. The whole thing is a bit of a pain, but it does accomplish the mission (cheap, can do myself vs lifting it in for example, and allows for the boat to be pulled also). Have a great summer man!

How did you get the wheels to work? Confused as to what they bolt into what axle etc...
@bridomine997 жыл бұрын
The axles are sold steel rods, 1/2 diameter if I remember right. The wheels slide on the axles and are held on using shaft collars (search on mcmastercarr.com)

hey man thanks a lot. any more pictures of how you did the wheels. sorry im slightly confusex. also do you thinm you could of done a dual wheel on each side or it wont work like that?

Eric Albertson Three guys can do it and save some time, but I have found with two it is a challenge at least with trucks with big tires and/or a lift
@CalQwax7 жыл бұрын
I built a cart the same height as the truck bed and just pushed it (JS550) in. To load it at the beach I would back the tail gate touching the water and used the jet ski motor to shoot the ski into the truck. Got home and slid it back onto the cart.

NO problem at all to push it up The ramp at Your owm (tricky IF You dont have muscles)! Anyway thx for The awsome idea! Tell me if anyone want pics on it :) [email protected] have a Great summer!

Hey! Just wondering wich size those wheels are? Building one exactly The same for my wv caddy but cant figure out if it going to hit The "lip" of The caddy... :(
@bridomine998 жыл бұрын
+Marcus Hellström the wheels are 13", this was probably the biggest question while designing. I had it drawn up in AutoCAD Inventor to be sure it would clear and originally had 3 2x4's under the rails (including the 2 that the axle goes through), but ended up removing the front one so the nose of the jetski would make contact with the front of the truck bed (otherwise it would hit the rear window). You can see the difference between the front and back end at the 10 second mark of the video
