Wendy, I was little bit confused abt The Topic of sentence & Thesis statement , 1. topic of sentence = Topic (subject, who/what )+ controlling idea (describe the subject) where as 2.Thesis statement = Sepcifc Topic + idea/opinion + supporting details / evidence , however can a topic of sentence can have a supporting /reasons /evidence ? in that case how can we identify them ?

I have a query regarding the Topic sentence & Thesis statement , beside the literature These can be found in technical/expository text ?(excuse any typo)

Is it possible to show positivity of both sides? On one hand, eating fruits offer plenty of essential nutrients and health benefits.
