I agree so much to this video. Although im young, and haven't been playing minecraft for as long as most people, i still feel like the part of the game i grew up with for those short, little amount, but treasured years has died. I started while playing on my phone, hanging out with my friends on pocket edition, having the most fun i've ever had in my life. And then it got better, i got minecraft on my laptop, me and my mom meant to get Java, but she accidently got Bedrock so we just got both. I played with my friends, and got even better at pvp and other things, and made a Sky Gen or whatever. That is a treasured memory, as me and a few of my friends made a server, basically, and it turned out really well. We made it unique from my friends' ones by adding many things others didn't, i even made builds and prisons with my friends. Then, i started playing Java. I played a one block, and met a very close friend and a community. One time, i made a joke that offended someone that everyone loved then everyone yelled at me. At that point, i practically cried, and said i was gonna quit. I didn't. Then, i got in an argument and said i was going to quit once again. They said i wouldn't, and that i'd come back and play, but i didn't. That was one of the biggest mistakes i've ever made. All my friends, down the drain. The community i joined and, actually, became well known in. I started playing hypixel, and got addicted. But over time, i started to not like playing Minecraft, and the community of 1.8 and MC in general started to die. The only thing that kept me on, and still does, is the friends i've made along the way. I've lost many friends, such as the ones from the silly server and the ones i made throughout my years on Bedrock in general, and i don't want that to happen to me again. I've started to stop play minecraft as much, and almost all of my best friends have quit or just not played at all, but i'll push through and make new ones. Wait for my best friends to join me again. I also have a very hard time adapting to change. I also get teary and very sad over nostalgic things. Writing this, is starting to make me sad. I wish i could go back, but i wish the people that just downloaded Minecraft like i did many years ago did. I hope they don't make the same mistakes i did, and don't throw away the best times of their life. I remember little me, just playing with my friends, thinking i was just having fun, but now i realise, i was making memories. I wish i could go back, i really do, but i hope the people that download minecraft like i once did and have fun. I miss you, my old friends, although i didn't know you for very long, you were my first friends, and some of my best. It's been 2 years since you've logged on, 4-5 years for the other, but i hope you're having fun and making new ones. You may think that our friendship was nothing special, but to me, if you haven't already, one day you'll realise how hard it is to lose someone that you were friends for a short period of time, but one of the best. I hope you reached your dreams, sometimes i wonder how you are, if you're sick or passed away or just forgot about me. I try to push my feelings out, but sometimes i can't keep it in. I even made a whole world, bawling out crying remembering the good old times. I love you buddies, even if you've forgotten me.
