Wish you guys would make one with the same filter as a p100 with the gases organic and non organic. I have extreme chemical and scent sensitivity so bad I can’t go outside without a respirator with the p100 2097 that has the carbon layer and air purifier with this would be awesome wouldn’t it?? I’m surprised you made one so good to tackle the gas and particles but no one ever goes as far as a p100 is there a reason this would be the best on the planet and help so many. Also some p100 like the 2097 with nuisance level organic vapor relief in a disposable, but has a silicone seal around it so that it fits and doesn’t have gaps would be awesome because maybe then I wouldn’t have to wear a respirator. I found some P100 but they don’t have the other barrier or they have gaps around the nose so a disposable that had a silicone nose seal and around the face like yours seems to look would be a game changer for me make these products

This is a ridiculous stunt, not a test. This gives no information other than someone foolishly sat in a smoke chamber. Particulate count before, when smoked, and during time lapse of purification would be an actual useful test. No one needed in a chamber for show.

I saw this video several years ago and initially I thought it was kinda silly because - the IQAir HealthPro Plus was the best mass produced air purifier in the market at that time... and all the "industry insiders" knew this... So, I felt like they kinda "lowered" themselves by making such a "sensational" video like this... with their CEO, and the police personnel all dressed up, etc. But since then, through the years - I have seen so many other air purifier "smoke" videos which are VERY misleading and 99% of the units being used in these videos are NOT actually good for smoke removal on a day to day basis. So, with that in mind - when I come back to this IQAir video - I realize it is much more realistic with the human actually being in the chamber with the smoke source and still being able to breathe... and they can only achieve this because the HealthPro Plus possesses elite particulate filtration. Very few other air purifier companies will be able to replicate this specific demonstration. I'd say maybe Airpura, Aeris and Camfil would probably be the only companies that I can think of offhand - that have solutions which would enable them to pull off a similar demonstration.... but that's about it. So now, I think this video is actually pretty well done when I consider multiple variables and all the misleading other "Smoke" test videos out there on the Internet.

I live in British Columbia where this summer some of the worst air quality in the world was present daily. With confidence i can now sleep, exercise, garden and walk the dog. I use the IQAir Quality Pro monitor to test Inside the house it shows how clean our air is. If the monitor is showing particles then we turn on the IQAir’s GC series air cleaning system. I can see on the monitor the air is getting cleaned up! It’s wonderful to relax and know you are breathing clean air. 😅

I have one too and I love my monitor just as much as you do! People think that I'm being too excessive with worrying about the air I breathe, but most people don't realize just how horrible it is to breathe polluted air. It completely cured my seasonal grass allergies too.

This was an impressive smoke test.👍 I have seen a bunch of "smoke test" air purifier videos. But, I haven't seen anyone else actually get in the smoke chamber with their company's air purifier and try to breathe. I haven't even seen another air purification manufacturer put one of their interns in the smoke chamber, either, LOL! 😆

We typically think wildfires that are hundreds or even thousands of miles away from us do not affect us but I just saw a study that showed that air quality on the East Coast becomes worse when there are wildfires on the West Coast - which is CRAZY! Some of the air pollution from the wildfires actually travels all the way across the country. 😮

This is interesting because I currently think the more air quality monitors in close proximity to you - the better/more accurately you would be able to really determine the quality of your air... Assuming the monitors are accurate. I recently looked at an AQI map and found the closest monitor to me was about 7 miles away. I'm pretty sure it's not picking up the smoke coming from my neighbor's yard when they burn their leaves. The satellite map imagery also is very interesting, as well, and could be a super important component in the coming years for us to get more "individualized" AQI readings vs. all of us having to have monitors attached to our homes. We really need 'individualized' AQI readings to determine the air quality in our immediate, particular spaces - not miles away, IMO. 😃

The results and damaging effects of poor air quality may not show up for YEARS, actually! I've spoken with folks who got super sick from their air quality but didn't realize it until symptoms started to show up 20 years later. We gotta be more careful about the air we breathe Outdoors AND Indoors!👍

The next 20 years will bring a tremendous amount of insight as to how damaging PM2.5 is to everybody's health long term. We just don't have all the data yet. Experts are now saying it affects EVERY ORGAN in our body! It is no joke. 🙁

I have an IQAir, Austin Air, and Aeris and they are all good units - the Healthpro Plus is definitely one of the best solutions on the market for particulates like dust.

Oh my. I really, really want to own one! I think it will be the perfect product. I have MCS, so its difficult to buy air purifiers, even IQAir ones aren't usually perfect (the Atem smells like paint/glue, and the GC Multigas smells like ash.) But this Klaus series might actually be perfect. It won't have the paint/glue smell, because its made of wood, not ABS plastic made in a factory full of solvents. And it might not have the ash smell (I think its the treated activated carbon) because unlike the GC, there is an H13 filter after the carbon. I'm hoping this product can still be purchased.

I was not aware that this Air Purifier is being used in the White House! Very impressive, I have it and it is an engineering marvel! Have not used my fibralator since I've had it, hard to believe, what happen to my asma! I'm buying 2 more. My family's lungs deserve it! Bought it at Bed Bath And Beyond 20% off

i love it. I know this sounds crazy, but it makes the air smoother somehow. We have 3 cats and 2 dogs as well as kids running in and out and the rooms are just cleaner and fresher. Good job iqair.
