Was this indoors? Asking for my jacaranda from seed id like to keep indoors for the first 100 days
@tiinasoderholm27 күн бұрын
Yes it was and under artificial light
@Titandenver27 күн бұрын
@@tiinasoderholm thank you! Do you recommend any specific artificial lights?
@tiinasoderholm27 күн бұрын
I got many different ones but for filming timelapse white color is a much... I feel that those pink purple lights grows way faster thought but is impossible to edit usable video... I also have huge old tube light which is good for big area but takes a lot of energy and is noisy, ugly brown color and bad for eyes and also generates heat... Good at winter time in my window!

I really appreciate the information, but I'm even more grateful you're so active and helpful in the comments. Usually when you finally find a video about a niche subject like this, its a twelve year old message-in-a-(cyber)bottle, where the uploader has no digital footprint and refuses to interact with the comment section 😂

I try to be if possible. I have so many projects going on and on the "hard drive" waiting for time to edit and upload but life gets on the way :D

So I am growing Strawberry popcorn and the silks are dark brown, I picked an ear for the big reveal,and the kernels are white, is this common, or did I pick it too soon ?so do I pick the rest or let it dry on the stalks? ❤

Hi, I must admit that I don't know. This was my first time growing corn and haven't really done it since. Hopefully you get your answer from someone with better knowledge!

How do you take care of it. It's in a vase with moss like stuff but no water.
@tiinasoderholm3 ай бұрын
It's in this small container plastic square pot which it comes from the shop. It flowers and then dies. These are treated with something to flower sooner in the winter and because of that these can't be planted. After flowers, they die... If you grow these in your garden normally, then they can flower every year by making new bulbs in the ground and so on...

What type of soil media needed for such healthy grow? Is 5 hours of sunlight per day sufficient?
@tiinasoderholm4 ай бұрын
Just a good planting mixture and I think more than 5 hours of sunlight is needed. I would prefer to 8-12 hours. Depending how hard the light is.

How much watts of led and 18/6?
@tiinasoderholm5 ай бұрын
This light used in this one is adjustable power. If I remember correct it's something like 0-200W. And this is 24h on, which isn't really good for the plants, plus the heat is usually too much also. Those purple/violet/pink lights for me grows so much faster, healthier and better, but they just don't look good on video in anyway of color correction...
