What a tragedy. My family will be praying for peace and safety for Trooper Gadd's family, as well as for the other men and women in service who have lost their comrade.

My heart is heavy as my youngest son is about to be commissioned on 3/27/24 to serve and protect the people of this state. As a mother of a trooper it is extremely hard to accept that this is a risk that he will face everyday as he serves. My heart is broken for Trooper Gadd’s family and especially his baby girl who lost her daddy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they mourn this loss. I pray that God keeps them close and helps them heal. I pray that God looks over and protects all the troopers each day as they serve and allows them to always come home. Trooper Gadd is a hero and will never be forgotten. You are all appreciated and so very precious. God bless and always come home.

Such a waste of a wonderful innocent young man. At age 27 is to you to be out past midnight. Trying to stop moving vehicles should only be done in the day time with your crew. Sigh. Hopefully young men don’t go out this late at light and stand in the road

Washington State Patrol has one of the most unique uniforms when it comes to State Troopers across America. They are one of the few agencies that wear a bow tie as their official tie and after 31 years in Law Enforcement myself, I can say I like the look. I also love how some of the Troopers wear their campaign hat with a slight cant to the side instead of how most Troopers wear the hat, which is like the Drill Sergeant way of wearing it, with the cant down to the front. I've seen other Troopers from WSP wearing their campaign hat with the slight cant to the side. It takes an intimidating looking Trooper, and with just that slight cant to the side, makes it just a little less nerve racking that you are face to face with a State Trooper. I like the slight cant to the side. It really complements the uniform appearance and should be standardized.

The salad day seem well intended. Its after 2 or 3 years that things can become.... . ..transitional. I say this as a British man who has been viewing U.S. cop watch n audit video for a good few years now. The experience has left me not really convinced and somewhat cynical, and im saying that, yes, with "English understatement "!!!!@.

As a Brit who has been viewing U.S cop watch n audits for 7 years or so now, sorry but im really not sure about whats being portrayed in this video. Some of the scenes that I've seen during these years have been mindbending to say the least!!

If we the people have not committed a crime, We don't have to ID our selves & don't have to give you our drivers license, all we need to do is present it.... Also when asked to prove proof of insurance that to Nope, Why because when any dirty azz hats ooonky runs any plate, guess what? Yep it shows them your address,if you have insurance.... Also when they ( you ) ooonkies ask where we are coming from and or going WE DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER THAT,ITS NONE OF UR BUSINESS...... YOU GUYS SWARE to & on the constitution to uphold it , to serve & protect The Public....

So this is way more disciplined than a city police officer that makes far more money..? doesn't make sense.

USA & Canada. Why do White cops interfere in Indigenous community's when these Indigenous community's already had ((Warrior Society's)) that kept the Peace in the community's! IE: ((The All Catchers Warrior Society of the Kainai/Blood tribe! They kept order at SunDances, & other large events! I say re-instate these Traditional Peace Keepers!! No more White cops on Tribal lands!!

very good information and I always have my cell phone off when driving. But I think Feddy needs to adjust his mirror on the driver's side so he does not have to keep taking his eyes off the road by leaning foreword to look out at his mirror. A mirror should be adjusted so he can glance to see what is beside him. And if he has a blind spot, he is fighting then he needs a bubble mirror attached to his mirror so it can be a glance that area too.

Washington used to say, One car length for every 10 miles per hour, which is easy to calculate. But in Oregon, there is a complicated mathematical way it as to be done and by the time you calculate that you are too close, you might already be in an accident.
