And if your reasoning is applied to all counties in Kenya ..dont you think this will be fatal..who(tribe) will gain and who will loose?.. The debate about 1M1V1S should be soberly discussed. The tax man report on revenue collection placed Lamu first ontop of the list of counties that collects the most revenues in Kenya with Eastleigh being number one in Nairobi county and with low poverty index..Would you wish your example above to be adopted🤣?.

@@shemochieng4917 if you put the name tribe in my opinion you fail miserably.Its the man not where he comes from. If Lamu has 20000 voters it means even population wise they are not that many hence their revenue share should be lower than Mogadishu which has a higher number of voters doesn't matter whether they are luos Kikuyus or Kisii.

And again when it comes to equity why would the legislator associated with mountain look at only one parameter -population why not geographical demorgraphics,Poverty index etc.. one would argue that the far-flung and under developed areas should get more hence 1man1Sh1Kilometer etc? Or if we flip the coin and say that national debt should also be shared in the ration of 1m1s1v or 1m1s1K will it be fair?.I live and work in a developed nation where all the factors above are always adhered to when it comes to allocation of resources thats why nearly all parts of the country is developed.
