DevOps consists of coding, not at the application or software development level but still it's it would be great to have skill if you want to be a *good* DevOps engineer. I would recommend to at least have the basics of coding covered along with fundamentals of DSA like Arrays, Stacks, Lists etc..

I am fresher , but i not confident that how will i able to work in the companies , i have knowledge of devops tools but still I can't do anything alone without the help of documentation and all that . Give me some advice and one more think I am looking for internship or fresher level roles in devops and cloud can u help me regarding that ?
@igetto_live5 күн бұрын
It's totally fine. Almost everyone starts at a place where you are right now. The key is to try things out things everyday and be curious. Also, it's totally fine to take help from documentation (that's what they are there for) and others. Give yourself at least 6 months before seeing a difference in your skillset. You will only develop it by building real world projects and doing lot of hands-on. Feel free to connect on LinkedIn and we can chat there and answer your queries.

And Bandhan Turn over is not due to churn, they have recently revamped their whole style of investing
@PIXEL0000020 күн бұрын
Never ever do this.. The best way to do is go to the youtube channels of the fundhouse and see what they say during the launch of the fund and their philosophy.. Once their philosophy and style suits you, you will never ever think abt exiting that fund irrespective of exp ratio, churn, ranking, etc
@igetto_live20 күн бұрын
That's a great point. It's true that aligning with a fund's philosophy is crucial for long-term investing. That's why I have a point about doing a background check on the fund manager 4:39 . However, it's equally important to acknowledge that there will always be funds with similar investment styles and strategies, often with lower expense ratios. While staying invested in a fund you believe in is admirable, ignoring factors like expense ratio and turnover can potentially impact your returns over time. Remember, every rupee saved in fees is a rupee that can potentially grow your investment. But, good point. Pinning it for viewers to understand your perspective as well.

Which is better, AMC SIP or SIP?
@igetto_live15 күн бұрын
That's a good question. In a non-AMC SIP you can modify, pause or step up your SIPs at any time. In this case a broker (like Zerodha) will place the order. An AMC SIP cannot be modified, paused or stepped up. In other words it's not that flexible as a non-AMC SIP. Also, in AMC SIP, the minimum investment amount is decided by the AMC and you directly deal with the fund house and no broker is involved.

We faced similar traffic a month ago & the road had heavy water flow on the road & turn where Truck gave you a pass on the water crossing, it was like a river. I got down to help cross 3 bikes which had fallen into the water. It was real fun.
@igetto_liveАй бұрын
Yeah, those crossings can get tricky with the traffic coming in from the other side.

I had a similar sudden urge to take those shortcuts on the trails while coming down on Gata Loops but suddenly my sense prevailed & i took the normal path. 😬
@igetto_liveАй бұрын
TBH, that's the sane thing to do. But, later I realised those trails make a lot of sense for descending down when there might be some traffic or when roads might be jammed because of landslides etc..

Neat and clear explanation about GitOps and ArgoCD. Just one query, does ArgoCD works only with the containerized workloads like Kubernetes flavors as target environment or can also integrates with non-containerized environments too by any chance?

We are in a golden age if you talk about opportunities in tech sector. There are plenty of opportunities and roles available if you are willing to go the extra mile. First decide which particular role you want to pursue and excites/interests you, then double down on learning the skills of that particular role. It's not going to be a 2 or 3 months journey. It would take time, least being 6 months. But, if you commit to it, you will certainly be able to make it.

Samraat, I have a few questions for you, as you said apart from resume, if someone need to recognize you by the work you are doing like Blogs, LinkedIn Network Expansion etc...but these days everyone is doing it. How do we stand out of that large group to secure a job in big companies like Google, Facebook etc...
@igetto_live3 ай бұрын
I still don't see many people doing it. I am not talking about sharing someone else's content as a post on Linkedin. I am talking about something that you have which is kind of your brand where people see that you are consistent and continuously engage. Once you do it for long enough time (years, not months), people will recognize you for that as well. After that only it would be valuable enough to make a difference. I see lot of people starting it but stop doing it soon after maybe months because of which it doesn't set them apart. It's a long game.
