Probably depends on which iPhone but the latest iPhone is a better camera and action mode is great but can’t beat the form factor of the action 2.

Dji osmo action 2 vs insta360 go 3s? Which has better details in 4k? Which is better for pov?
@octanemotorwerks24 күн бұрын
Both are great cameras but I think it really depends on your use case. Action 2 form factor for POV is hard to beat but for capturing super unique shots and not missing the shot due to mounting angle or body position, the insta360 has the advantage.

I would take that bivy bag out & use it at least once before you need to use it. I can’t stand them. I’ve tried multiple times to use them b/c they’re so compact. However, you will either wake up wet or freeze from the condensation. They really don’t breathe at all even if they say they do. You also need a couple of trash bags or extra poncho you can use to make a brows bed out of to battle conduction.

It still works great. I have a friend that’s been running the 1up double with 2 Sur Rons and no issues. I do remove the batteries while it’s on the rack.

Good on you mate, great to hear your positive mindset about staying prepared. Just a couple of suggestions; Keep all of your medical kit together, rather than spread between different pouches, also have some trauma kit such as a tourniquet, an Israeli bandage and Celox a warm layer and waterproof layer a map of your local area a notebook and pens/pencils a whistle a multitool a folding saw to be able to process wood. Cheers from England 👍

Was this more comfortable than the stock seat? Any things you don’t like about it? I like the style but worried about the longevity of it
@octanemotorwerksАй бұрын
I would say the stock seat is more comfortable but the advantage of being able to shift your weight forward in corners I found outweighed the comfort factor for me personally.

One thing to keep in mind if your get home bag is in any way set up for an urban environment is to make sure that your bag stands out as little as possible. Generally I say that if you're going to go with something that has Molly webbing on it don't attach anything to the outside unless it's something like a tourniquet pouch with a tourniquet inside of it or an emergency trauma kit filled with the absolute essentials that you would need to access in a hurry. Also make sure that you get the bag in a color that hopefully won't stand out at all. Also, I'd say just drop the electric lighter for a couple of regular bics. The arc just doesn't behave the same as the flame of a bic. Plus jt can take some finagling to make it work.

Great advice! The gray man theory is a good strategy.
@alphaomegasurvivalsupply654810 күн бұрын
Gray man is a waste. When something happens, everyone will be a target, especially if you're wearing a backpack. It won't matter what color it is or if it has molle or not. Gray man was intended to be used before all of this got really popular and is no longer viable, in my opinion. Just like bugging out was intended to be used before everyone else found out about it, now it's a fools errand....

I put a set of these in my Bronco Sport Badlands last year. I tow a small travel trailer and the rear end would squat quite a bit due to the Badlands soft off road springs. After putting them in it barley goes down with the trailer attached. I am running them at 25 psi with the trailer,5psi without. I am very happy with the results. I have yet to go off road with them in to see if I loose some articulation.

Stock tires are 285/70R17. The big tires are 38.5x12.50 R15 but they wouldn’t actually fit. I have a leveling kit on it that could easily clear 35s maybe 37s with the proper wheel offset.

They could easily incorporate a ramp to facilitate loading & unloading. One arm could swing down to ground level and be used as a ramp [with some kind of plate to make a surface to roll tire up & onto rack]. Or a pivot system like some others use. I just want a rack that can handle bike & battery together for smoother excursions.
@dragonfly6563 ай бұрын
Bad. You need a ramp and a more secure rack. That thing wobbled like crazy as you put the bike on.
