I took an old hair band and cut it up and added hot glue gun 🗿wish i would have seen this video sooner but at least hot glue gun is easy to take off 😅 great idea

I've cut up a rubber wrist band. (Charity type) Into about 3 cm strips and inserted into each gate in the shifter as one rubber round the shaft was causing to much resistance...Very pleased with results. Costs almost nothing to try.

Yes I'm satisfied with TH8s in terms of functionality and build quality. Regrets maybe for longer hours of playtime it feels like a toy to me.

Awesome setup man. Pro tip: When ur doing sharp turns, I noticed you moved the wheel all the way. The car in dirt will always understeer and you'll lose time. Example 0:50. Otherwise great driving ofc

looking into getting the same wheel and shifter but ive seen lots of posts about overheating/calibration issues aswell as losing force feedback have you had any issues so far? i dont want to spend 600+ on a DD wheel and i dont want to go with a logitech wheel so i thought this is a nice middle ground and gives the enough force feedback but i dont want to purchase one to just end up having to RMA it

Hey there, yeah I've seen a lot of that issues regarding overheating, noise and calibration. Mine is working just fine and all are updated to the latest firmware. Force feedback is very strong, I dont experience those issues. The shifter is good too in terms of functionality. But it feels like a toy because its made of a very nice feeling plastic. You might want to try the metal one TH8a.

@@theprinzplayground thanks for the response. im going to go ahead and assume the issues revolve around person to person usage and what games cause im sure some games put more of a toll on the wheel when it comes to force feedback. still thinking im gonna go with the TH8s over the TH8a cause from looking at reviews they seem to be very similar other than the metal vs plastic and also ill end up swapping the shift knob on it anyway so i dont think itl be a big issue id rather save the extra 110-120 it would cost to get the th8a

@@marikogh yeah those combinations T300rs GT and TH8s is pretty good and the force feedback is very strong like I only use a value of 4 out of 10 on my GT7, thats the sweet spot for me not too heavy not to light, just right realistic driving. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it. By the way the next upgrade would be a TLCM pedals :).

@@theprinzplayground i was originally looking at the logitech g920/923 but im more focused toward drifting than racing and heard the ts300 would be better for that since it has more feedback whereas the logitech stuff in that price range ud have to help it counter steer a bit more on transitions. anyways thanks for responses helped me make my final decision to go with the t300 😎

Yes, actually you wont easily notice it. But when you press the gas and the car doesnt rev, then it stalled 😅

That looks awesome fun, and some great driving as well! I just got my T300 and TH8S, i've been using it on Assetto Corsa since I got it but I also have Dirt Rally 2 installed. I did give Dirt Rally a quick try the other day but it's waaayyy harder than Assetto and I mostly just broke the car after a practice lap or two, so I'll come back to it later!
