I disagree because the highest lighthouse is in North Carolina which is the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
@quietplaces20189 минут бұрын
While Cape Hatteras may the tallest lighthouse, Marcus Hook Range Rear light is the tallest light at 278 feet. The lighthouse itself stands 105 feet but it sits upon a huge hill! Hope that makes sense! Have a great night Diya!

The couple large closed stores.... to the right of Fine Wine & Liquor...was a Circuit City. To the left of Walmart was a SAMS CLUB. The Sam's Club failed next to Walmart... odd choice to compete next door to one another. Buddy's has nice Burgers & Cheesteaks!

The Victoria Bolivianas are like they are from an assembly line. I never knew a Lilly pads can be up to 10 feet across, and kids can sit on them. They are not in this video, but google street view shows them.

Thanks for the ride. I remember the old mill that was on the corner by the creek on the west bound lane.at the end. Removed so they could build the new bridge back around 80s 0r 90s. Do Rte 272 from Wakefield to Willow Street. I always love that drive. Would use 272 instead of 222 to go to Quarryville.

Excellent. So beautiful. There is so much history on Jake Landis Rd, clear back to the 1700’s. Isaac Long Barn is there. It is the birthplace of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the first church to be founded in the new America. It became the mother of the United Methodist Church in 1968. This entire area is full of history.

But the good news is the residents are trying to to get the funds to make the the new 1 even thou it isn't the same as the as back in the old days when they first made this bridges

Back in the 50s and 60s my Grandfather would sell hay and corn to King Ranch that own a large area of land at Doe Run. They shipped cattle up from Texas and fatten them up on the lush grass . They would come with trucks and unload the hay from the wagons we loaded the day before. As a young boy I got to see real cowboys in their cowboy hats and boots. It was also great to not have to unload the hay into the barn in the heat.
@quietplaces20184 күн бұрын
Oh wow that’s so so neat. Thanks so much for sharing those memories! Yes hay in the heat = a hard time lol! We had to do hay as teenagers!
