Mr Joseph, what's the best way to prepare for speaking in 5 days? Note that I have prepared too before, recorded my answer multiple times. However I want to utilize these 5 days wisely, so that I can improve my speaking skills without wasting time. Pls provide tips. Thanks.

Joseph you are the absolute GOAT 🐐 of TOEFL prep man 🙏 I had around 15 days to prepare and did majority of the prep from this channel’s videos. Scored 99/120. Divide the days for each section according to your needs. I was confident in listening and writing section and scored the most in them. I gave most days for speaking section as im not a native English speaker and had some difficulty to form answers in the given time frame at the start. I used the speaking section templates from old videos and modified them to suit my style of speaking. Once you practise enough you get a hang of it. Record your answers on your phone’s audio recording app and listen to it and note where did you fumble or go wrong and improve on it. My final score : R-22, S-23, L-26, W-28

Thanks brother, do u usually hesitate when practicing speaking? At times I make a small mistake and this prompts me to restart my recording. Btw just like you, my problem is only in speaking.
@yellowflash40072 күн бұрын
@@namanvohra8262yes it used to happen with me as well. But dont stop recording. Record everything and analyse where did you go wrong. During exam you may or may not make mistake or fumble when speaking and there you will not have a chance to stop the recording and speak again. The key is keep speaking when you make a mistake. Dont say filler words like “uhhhh, ummmm” etc. If you fumble just take a 1second pause and speak. The templates help a lot because with templates you dont have to think as much just plug the content in them and speak. Practise as much as you can and eventually you will figure out the technique. I practised around 50 questions before I nailed the speaking technique. At start you will make mistakes and fumble a lot and its ok, keep practising and eventually you will minimise or eliminate all the mistakes.

not really true, they also ask things that are unrelated to the main ideas of the conversation, small things that you immediately forget because it is not worth to remember in real life scenario. they force you to multi task by writing the small details while listening to the conversation even tho it is not a good thing to do in real life even can be categorized offensive.

Hello Joseph, would you please discuss about how to summarize effectively for the Q4 speaking? I have a very hard time to finish on time because I tend to add a lot of the information in my speech. Thank you so much Joseph!
@NoteFullTOEFLMasteryАй бұрын
A little tough to answer via text, but I’ll do my best. 1) Listen without taking notes and explain from memory. Do this a few times without a timer and you’ll naturally focus on what’s important. 2) Think about main ideas more than small details. To help, explain in 30 seconds several times. That’ll push you to know what’s most important. Do these exercises with one or two different q4 example questions for 1 hour and it will really help. 💪 You can do it! Keep reviewing this video too.

I received my toefl official result today and I was extremely disappointed, but after listening to you I feel little hope to pass. My score was 66 unfortunately after studying 1 year with diamond course and gold course. Congratulations
@NoteFullTOEFLMasteryАй бұрын
My strong recommendation is: 1) KEEP studying. It takes time to improve but you can do it. The key is to expect improvement after every 100 hours of study. 2) Restart your Gold Course as if you were taking it for the first time or continue with our next Gold Course if you enjoyed it. The key is to keep watching success stories, keep applying what you learn, and keep reviewing. You will succeed!

How many years or months later did you reach out 101 from 64? My level is low like that. I cannot be sure whether I can do it or not.
@NoteFullTOEFLMasteryАй бұрын
Think more in terms of hours of study vs years. The average NoteFull student training with all our recommendations improves about 4 points every 100 hours. So, 64 to 101 is 37 points. That will be about 1000 hours. It’s going to transform your English too. Studying 20 hours a week, it will take you about 1 years, 50 weeks. Hope that helps! 💪 You can absolutely do it!

How to make a plan?
@NoteFullTOEFLMasteryАй бұрын
The easiest way is to create a weekly schedule where you schedule 12 to 24 hours to study all 4 sections in one week. Do this for the next 3 weeks and keep doing it so you’re always setting yourself up for the best chances of success. Hope that helps. 🤝

Essentially yes. Ibt just means: Internet based TOEFL/test. But no matter what version you take it’s the same unless it’s called the TOEFL Essentials. Confusing to have so many names, but I hope that helps.
