Jared Williams oh sorry... yes, I always use a wheel chock... only because I've seen 2 week old straps break. If you have 1 strap break.. the chock should keep the wheel fairly straight.

badassflhx so the steel is solid or hollow? Think you could use eye bolts on the ends to hook to? I can't weld so looking alternatives..

+HvyMetal4Ever I actually took an old seat, and modified the pan to fit with this bar when I haul it on an open trailer. However... we pulled 4 bikes on an open trailer back from Daytona, and I was the only one with any type of protection... through some rain, and even snow... nobody had any problems with their bikes when we got home.
