I toured the USS Alabama years ago. What struck me most is both how huge it is and yet how crowded and cramped it also is inside.

Disaster was barely averted when a weapons crewman aboard the destroyer William D. Porter, smelling of rum and Bolognese sauce, drunkenly fired a torpedo which narrowly missed the Iowa. The sailor then dropped trou, saluted with both hand and appendage, yelled "you'll never get me lucky charms" and then flung himself overboard with a life preserver, never to be seen again. Though legend tells he survived to go on to later exploits...

torpedoes seem underpowered given how slow they are, both torps and the skip bombers seem weak frankly (should be another bomb per attack)... this just doesn't come close to stacking up in dpm against Russian carriers of the same tier and given you will often only get 1 attack off per flight the comparison is reasonable

Shinano having a Fantasy AP Skip bomber itself is considered a crime. Heck even making Shinano effective in combat is basically an insult to actual Shinano IRL. Shinano herself is by far the worst Aircraft Carrier ever built due to how stupidly rushed that thing was. How bad was on her rushing conversion? She was so bad that Tiger P’s engine looks like a very reliable engine. On her construction, she wasn’t installed enough Water tight doors, her wiring work still hanging inside the ship. Her Main Battery Magazine storages still not being converted into extra Hanger space. Her Torpedo Protection wasn’t properly installed. And she was very unstable ship. The fact that she have to have a ship construction engineer on board to do some installations for her during her active duties. Worse than Prince Of Wales. I know if she is fully converted she would be called Super Aircraft Carrier that able to house Land Aircrafts. But this thing is so bad that 3 Torps from a Submarine can sink it. Even Captain on board telling the record that Shinano was hugely rush. Harder than Fallout 76 combined with Cyberpunk 2077 1000times over.

i feel that Wargaming should be doing more Buffs to many ships in the game that need buffs to make them competitive with other ships. I will use two dockyard ships Altantico for example, its Gimmick can easily be taken away from the ship based on Rgn as the Secondary battery can very easily be destroyed in a SINGLE salvo by HE or AP of any caliber with the randomly generated HP. With only Standard AP on its 15 inch guns, the ship itself it not really noteworthy, especially with her bigger cousins coming to the game soon. Another example and my least favorite is Hizen, which was and still is very underpowered for what it is. 12, 410mm guns, which has slower shells and lower penetration then Izumos guns, and Hizens Sigma is 1.7 , on par with the Nagato when Izumo has a 2.0 Sigma. But for some Reason on Hizen specifically, the low sigma and Japanese Vertical dispersion makes her shells more likely to land short of an enemy ship, or sail right over them. This makes her guns very inaccurate at Most Ranges, and even at close range, the lower Penetration on the shells can deliver less then ideal results. Hizen also has 32mm deck plating covering the entire deck, and while she gets a Slightly improved heal, she has 3 base Charges which does not compensate for the chunk damage you will be receiving from Every shell fired at you. Hizen is the only Japanese BB I do Not like, leading to me attaching the phrase, " She received more downsides then what she got in return for those downsides" to Hizen Itself, the Ship DOES still has big damage Potential... but its just very difficult to play the ship as it currently stands.
