They really need to tone down the constant camera rotation when beam struggles and dimension breaking is very unnecessary and visually impaired, you can’t even tell who’s winning the struggle. And another most important thing. The ultimates beams need to be way bigger like the final flash!! One more thing for the ultimates, I’m sorry but they show lack of dramatic scenes. Like when goku use super spirit bomb on buu you don’t see any reaction from kid buu

Here's whats going to happen: People will get hyped, buy the game, play the PVE campaign, then try PVP and get stomped by people who actually know what they're doing, then quit. Same thing that happened with Xenoverse and FighterZ loool. Dragon Ball fans want to be handed an EZW because they can't handle real competition. This game is lacking in two things only: uniquely designed gorgeous (fully-fleshed out) story mode cutscenes to surround the gameplay. It’s just a tremendous use of gameplay and slideshows with voiceovers. Get the fuck outta here!

In my opinion Dragon ball raging blast had the best select screen

Not a big deal but something that's been kind of bothering me for a while now is how much the camera moves. Like, how it shifts from one spot to another when you hover over the different characters for seemingly little reason. I can understand if it's to factor in the different shapes and scaling of the characters but I believe I've seen the camera shift around going from Goku to another Goku. I can also see it as a way to make the selection more dynamic and visually interesting but, personally, I feel it's a tad much I don't know. Again, not a big deal. Just one of those things where it only becomes a problem when you think too much about it. Also yeah, having all the transformations organized and compact under the base character would be a big improvement. That does feel like a demo thing so I doubt they'd leave that as is with more characters.

Budokai 1 has my favorite select screen of all time I hope they do something similar 🫡

The character select screen you’ve been showing from the anime expo and the summer games fest is from the demo, a lot of beta’s do this with characters select screens. I have a very good idea of what the final and official character select screen could and will look like.

I don’t think the stages being in the background of the select screen is the issue they just need to make tabs for the different characters where you can get to their transformations or other base forms, it’s too cluttered main issue to me

The only downside is with next month being most likely cell saga and buu saga the sept trailer can do a montage of og dragon ball some movie characters and gt or which i hope doesn't happen but might is it will be a db super trailer to show off things like full power jiren mui goku destruction toppo and things like that. That would mean movies and gt would be dlc which is annoying since they've been in every game and we're already in bt3 but they did before for paid dlc so unfortunately that might be the case again

We could get from the cell saga a skill/powerup of perfect cell getting big after failing to defeat SSJ2 gohan, we might get that. We also may get Kibito, Pui Pui, and Yakon from the Buu Saga too as they were never playable in a game before, so it would be a big surprise!!! For the Buu Saga, we could get Majin buu's buff form before he turns into kid buu as a power up for either kid buu or super buu?
