So cute! When we adopted our Hokkaido, she was already 3 years old. It’s nice to see some footage of a Hokkaido puppy! ❤

Thank you for your comment. Actually, when I watch her videos, I'm surprised to see that Honoka's coat color and body have changed so much from when she was a baby. Next time, I will make a video of a Hokkaido dog when it was a baby! thank you very much.☺

It’s so nice to see videos dedicated to Hokkaido dogs. They are so rare, just like the breed, I suppose. We adopted a white Hokkaido from a breeder in Austria. She’s a very good dog. Your pup is adorable! ❤️

Thank you for your comment! I am very happy to receive a your message from Austria.😊I love white Hokkaido dogs too ❤Honoka has 6 siblings and one of them went to NY. Actually, popularity of Hokkaido dogs are decreasing year by year. I hope that Hokkaido dogs do not become extinct.🐕

@@JapanLivingwithawhitedog That’s so sad. I don’t understand why Hokkaidos are not more popular. We see Akitas and Shibas everywhere but not so much the other Japanese spitz breeds.

@@brabel0401 Thank you for watching my video. I think there are several reasons why the number of Hokkaido dogs is decreasing, but I think the biggest reason is that almost no people in Japan keep dogs outside. Since there are only a few Hokkaido and Shikoku dogs, their personalities are not well known. For this reason, they are considered more difficult to keep than the well-known Shiba and Akita dogs. Also, because they require a lot of exercise, it is very difficult to keep them in small Japanese homes. Even in Japan, very few people know about Hokkaido dogs and they are not popular. So I was really happy to hear that you are living with a White Hokkaido dog in Austria!☺
