Great video Mick!! Great tunes for the sound track! Great memories, had some of the times of my Life at Ben's hall, even Dj'd once in the free style room! I was there this night, though I must have been camera shy cus I've noticed loads of others I know but couldn't spot myself! Lol I've still got the flyer with the Dj line up from the night! Love how dark it is in the main room, always had to squint my eyes when I walked in the record room with the bar! Lol. God i parted with some serious cash in that room! On records that is! Not at the bar! Lol 👍👍🛵

The year was 1975, I was married on Sept 30th, this song was released the same year and I played it over and over again reminiscing on how I was knocked down with the power of love.

Last year after a year's research and abit of a lucky guess I managed to track a copy down, only to get out bid, well earlier this year after more research I managed to track down the writer and producer of the song, I asked if he had a copy unfortunately he didn't so asked if he could help track down a copy,. I heard nothing for several weeks then got a message sorry unfortunately it appears to be extremely hard to get, But I have digital masters of an unreleased version if you would like it. I of course replied yes, he stated I could play it on whatever format I chose. RTB the unissued mix I will be playing it out at the original Skegness weekender when it resumes. No I won't reveal who it is, that's down to rupe and Steve. I'll just say this it's an extremely hard record to track down only a handful been up for sale.

I never met Simon, but would liked to have done. I enjoyed engaging him on f/b, we seemed to disagree on most things, but he made me laugh and that's no bad thing. R.I.P. Mate.
