Yea I learned after the fact that I couldn’t hide it in crown molding. I thought it was possible but guess not. Since then I’ve taken it down and sold the condo but DEFINITELY a fun project

The fiber optics are fragile and it’s best to keep the ONT (the fiber modem) separate & isolated near the outside of the home for the fiber, while allowing you to locate the ONT wherever you’d like in the home Trust me, the snappier more reliable internet from Verizon makes it all worth it

Give it another 10 and then unplug and plug back in and see. If it still don’t stop blinking, I would swap it out. Go to a local Verizon store that handles FiOS gear (call ahead) or call Verizon to ship a new one out to you, it happens

Unscrew all screws, lay the tv on the floor with the back against the floor, wiggle and tap the stand until all 4 screws fall out. I used to do it all the time, pain in the ass

Did you Fios Extender Automatically assume the network name of the main router? Do they Auto Mesh seamlessly? My extender is connected via CAT 6 to the main router and recently I'm noticing slower speeds when connected to the extender.

Yes it finds the main router setting and assumes it. Definitely try separating the networks because the problem I’ve had with wifi for YEARS is that your devices always stay connected to the slower 2.4GHz band on the further wireless extender than the one you’re standing right next to

Leave IPv6 on by all means! Disable IPv6 checksums on your intel cards. Their ONTs interfere with that.

Even with different NICs I’ve had issues, my ryzen PC was running a Realtek 2.5GB nic and it was slow as balls, fixed when IPv6 was disabled and I’d rather be setting this on the router, I don’t want my guests to figure out how to turn off IPv6, what kind of ass backwards host would I be?

I will say that Auxito or hikari are well known brands. Sylvania, Lasfit, and Auxito are the best brands for our vehicles. Truly highly recommend them.

Hikari to my surprise isn’t bad, but it just feels like another one of the millions of Amazon fake branded stuff from China. Usually I only trust what’s sold at big box retail stores and Sylvania and Philips have had an excellent track record

I regretted saying Flutter Upgrade on the cmd. @@AMPTechGrade Don't decide fast, you can always get rid of the packages that were affecting the issue for me it was Image cropper and geolocator I removed them and it's working Also I have fixed the issue thanks to you My plan with the geolocator was to get my current location and convert it to plus code for my users automatically instead I said well I guess users have to open up Google maps and told them instructions to do so if they don't have exact address It's rigged a little but it's working now after 4days of stress

CR1000B (which is what Verizon tried to give me when my Actiontech went bad) is junk. Even my Verizon techs couldn't get it to work...and I've been in IT for over 30 years. They gave me a G3100 that worked fine (which I expected, as I ran my own Cat 6 Ethernet cable...I've done this at work). Also, the Android Google TV boxes they give you to replace your old Cable boxes are slow. Both the CR1000B and the Android boxes need to be rebooted a lot. I think the drivers for the CR1000B are not ready for prime time, and the Android Boxes they give you are under powered. Sadly, they are trying to get rid of coax, so the G3100 will probably not work at some point, and I'll have some choices to make. At that point, I may just go with the best internet deal, use my own wifi router and use either Roku's or a Firestick for my TV's, plus KZfaq TV. Verizon needs to get their act together, and stop pushing bad equipment.

why does sylvania market these lights as powersport / fog only? I got one too havent installed it yet, for headlight 2 in 1 low/high. But whats the reason why its marketed as fog light only?

I’m assuming it’s too bright so for legal purposes they probably can’t market them for use as low/high beam, even tho we’re gonna use it for that. But they’ll clearly get sued hard because they do nearly blind people on the roads. In all fairness, you’re only supposed to use your high beams on roads with no incoming traffic, and I ALWAYS take off high beams when passing cars, but

@@AMPTechGradeit only produces 12W for H11. It’s not truly bright. It’s 20% brighter than stocks so technically, it’s not a blindingly bright af. I tried that on other friends vehicle on their sylvania - SL.BX2. So I can see why. It’s not extremely. They are marginally brighter than stock. They do ok job on projector. But putting them in a reflector headlights will be a lot better, while it will still not blind other people. In my experience of them when I see how they perform, you will be on a safe side.

The downside is you still need to pay for the TiVo service so once I move into my new house, im using Kodi to merge the guide for PlutoTV and antenna. My Samsung already does this and it’s awesome, but no DVR so lots of trial and error doing that
