I worked on a bunch of vfx on this movie, so I've been anxiously awaiting anything for nearly 2 years now!

How often want they filming this book? This will be the 3rd movie version of the book. But i'm looking forward to it!

I'm a huge fan of the novel but after delay after delay I've lost all interest in watching the move and of course woke Hollywood just has to make Mark Petrie black and Dr. Jimmy Cody is now Dr. Cody, a black woman. They can stick this woke version and two year delayed film up their noses!

As of August 16, 2024 there is no release date for this film. Warner buried it. This is a complete turkey, guaranteed.

Theatrical release in the UK and Ireland October 11th

Recently been told trailer coming end of September, and we are expected to believe it's an October 11th theatrical release in the UK and Ireland. Sounds a little ' off ' to me, folks! If this movie trailer is not ' dropping ' till the end of September we are not going to be getting the movie itself from 11th of October in the UK and Ireland. Rather strange state of affairs, this whole darn production!! 😕

a serie and a movie from 1979 that are cult horror,..and with their remake in 2004 they already screwed up and now they are going for the same thing,and this will stop being a cult terror and become a saga without any authenticity,...

Well that's a bit of good news, maybe Salem's Lot will come out soon. I heard the song, it definitely sounds creepy. It's a fitting song for a good vampire movie

Max doesn’t release trailers far in advance. The movie will come out in October. The trailer in September makes sense. Netflix has released trailers with only 2 weeks from release on streaming. They don’t hype far in advance for streaming.

I really don't like that song it's awful.

It makes the most sense that Salem's Lot will be released around mid October in time for the Halloween season. One character in the novel that the last two movies didn't include was Sheriff Homer McCasslin. I'd like to see the scene when he investigated the missing body of Mrs. Glick at the funeral home and interrogated Ben Mears and Dr. Jimmy Coady. The second scene in the novel with the Sherrif was when he was cruising later that night and found Susan Norton's car. He then encountered Susan who was now a vampire and Barlow. I sure hope this new adaptation is far more faithful to the book than the first two. If so, it could be one of the greatest and most suspenseful horror films of all time, similar to thrillers like The Exorcist and The Shining.

Been checking your page daily for news on this! lol. FWIW IMDb still says October 11th cinema release for uk and Ireland. Is it possible they could wait till September for the trailer? Considering how badly they have bungled the release so far it could be possible

The song Devil Town is very good. Daniel Johnston was considered by many musicians to be the next John Lennon. I particularly love the song Held The Hand. His songs were and still are covered by many many artists. He was considerate a musical genius and his biography is both very sad and interesting. I'm happy to see that they used his song for this movie that will hopefully be very good. Thank you for the trailer info.

Almost October 2024 and still no trailer for Salems lot 2024.

Bill Bixby brought a certain warmth to the role of David Banner. As "David Banner" travels the life of a "man-on-the-run" across the American continent, he makes an emotional connection with the people he meets. You can sense a certain empathy in his body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice. Lou Ferrigno was also great in his role as the "Hulk"; with no CGI needed, he was a world class body-builder; the real deal. And Jack Colvin as "McGee"; the reporter who hounded Banner, was also a great actor; always on edge, and even if he only appeared in a few minutes of some episodes, his presence always made a big impact.

Salem's Lot remains one of my all time favourite novels; King wrote like a man so sure of himself so much like if he never wrote another book he would totally knock it out with this one. Some of the most absolute frightening scenes from that novel have yet to make it to live action and I doubt this version will satisfy

I loved the 2004 film I think it was done a lot better. Everyone knows that the monsters in the 1979 film don't exist but the monsters that look normal and live next door do that's what made it scary for me. The makeup doesn't do it for me it's the dialog and how the actors have to come across looking normal that's scary!

I don't know why but the Nosferatu style vampire in the original was not scary to me at all, which I know is a VERY unpopular view. I was only eight or nine then. I am one of few who really liked the 2004 version. I did love the Glick scenes in both the original and 2004 as well.

At this point the movie is self destruction and no one has the patience…. Even if it is good quality made.. It will be picked apart by the public til there is nothing left…
