On both of my Streets of Rage games on both of my Multicarts the Level Select+Lives Cheats simply dont work and neither do any other cheats?!Yet cheats on the other games on the other Multicarts DO work??

Great video being so in depth with alternate borders within games and loved hearing the Mario Picross puzzle theme behind the opening especially. I like to play a round a day and always feel like the game and tracks on it don't get that much attention. The first game's opening theme has no right going as hard as it does lol

Playing on the SNES Clasic with the ability to save state anywhere I got the digging game heart a lot easier by reloading my save. At first I tried saving before talking to the guy to start the game and I would dig starting at the bottom corner working my way across. If I didn’t get it I was making note of where I stopped and reloading the save and starting there but I did the whole field and no heart piece ❤️. Then it occurred to me that the act of starting the game is what randomizes the prizes so I saved state right after paying and repeated the strategy and I got it on my 2nd try. I assume this will work on the chest game as well. Edit: Nope the chest game is still giving random prizes each time. That would mean they are randomizing the prizes as I am opening the chest? That’s not cool. I wonder if the fairy fountain where it says today you will have: Great Luck Impacts this?

I love your review but I think you forgot to mention one topic reviewers always left behind. HOW IT WORKS WITH 2 PLAYERS? You see, I think this game can=-t be played with 2 Super scopes and you are limited to 1 Scope and 1 mouse in comparison with the Megadrive - Genesis version. DId you ever test that? I wish I could confirm this before buying a 2nd Super Scope. (I don like to use mouses on lightgun games)

I strongly disagree with your opinion about the controls. The FPS controls for the DS were an incredibly good concept for accuracy and fast paced combat. This is why I loved this game so much as a child. I played this before I ever put my hands on a mouse and keyboard and saying that, once you got used to the different controls, it quickly became second nature. I feel saddened that a lot of people hate this control scheme, just because it took time to get used to similar to how you would learn how to ride a bicycle. Imagine if bicycles went out of fashion as soon as they were invented just because nobody wanted to learn how to ride them. I always used my pinky finger to support the bottom of the console and alternatively use it to press the right trigger to zoom in with the Imperialist weapon. Scoring headshots in this game was so easy once you got used to it, I cannot count how many times I outplayed others in this game just because I was the only one willing to give the game the light of day to become good at it.

Would of loved a solid black shell with the same coloured & grey buttons, instead of the transparent. But i guess you could always just buy the black retro-bit wired saturn controller and swap the front and black plates with the wired Slate grey.

Ah,cool unlockable characters,it looks fun even if I dont like sports.Maybe I could enjoy this one,it would be fun a remake for Switch and Steam with cool unlockables like a cute and curvy Lola Bunny.

Kirby's Dream Land 2 was great on a Super Game Boy too. My brother liked playing Pokémon on it sometimes, tho we started using the N64 Transfer Pak before long. Kirby and Donkey Kong '94 were my favorite SGB games. I wish I could easily play them with those features again without digging out and hooking up the old hardware. You'd think Nintendo would include those features in digital releases. Entice a few extra buys. I can't imagine they're too difficult to implement. It's too bad Nintendo didn't let developers draw new graphics on SGB. That could have been cool. I wish devs gave it more support too tho. There could have been so many new soundtracks and color palettes Also, an underrated feature of the Super Game Boy is that it gave you more 8-bit console games. The Game Boy Player and Playstation TV did the same thing but with this hardware you can play Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins on your TV. So now you have a fourth 8-bit console Super Mario game. You have a fourth console Zelda game too with Link's Awakening. They were limited but it's a larger library of games on your console. Playing on a TV is usually preferable to playing on a handheld when you're at home. You probably don't use handheld mode on your Switch at home much either. So that was nice. I could play the best version of Donkey Kong ever and my favorite version of Tetris at the time on my TV so I was a happy boy

Just today I found the one heart piece I was missing: the one at the start of the game. I had the idea that I got it before so that was the last place I checked and refused to watch the first places where the other heart pieces were. Turns out I missed the bombable wall from the cave at Kakariko Village.
