Ings is more likely to go out on loan with us paying part of his wages. Zouma could take a pay cut with a new club on either pay as you play or if he's offered a 2-3 yr contract with conditions written into the contract. It would be in his best in interests to take a pay cut on that basis.

If Zouma was fully fit with normal knees, he would be an integral part of the first team, but this degradation of his knees with no chance of improvement, he will never be seriously considered to play. He should think of himself and his health going forward, and call it a day to professional football, surely he doesn’t need the money. This touting around the Middle East looking for another big payday is embarrassing and disrespectful of any club foolish enough to make him an offer.

I think Alvarez will push for a move and go if he gets a good offer. He has no loyalty to us and that’s fair enough. If he does kick up a fuss we should let him go asap to maximise the fee as well have the opportunity to buy a replacement.

Hooray, so glad to hear at least one Fan TV cast point out that Areola is a dodgy keeper. For the last couple of years I've heard site after site wax lyrical about him, and yes he's a good shot stopper but very vulnerable to crosses and defending his box. He's got a touch of the David James about him, when he's good he's very very good but when he's bad he's awful. Unfortunately he's both sides of this equation in most games
