The women workers there are obsessed with my crotch. They're perverts, racist and I hate them.

Many great American universities have this issue. Especially the city schools. It’s because the big cities in America are collapsing on a societal level. We’ve been researching, and I don’t think we can trust campus stats. It’s so sad. Amazing universities threatened by degrading cities around them….a sign of our failing society with no assistance or acknowledgement from government.

I finished 5/7 courses there. 2 were repeats of AB Calculus. Art history b plus, sociology b plus and William Julius Wilson a minus. The reading loads were often impossible.

how many hours is each class overall? we only take 4 classes per semester in Australia (each class is around 150h) so the fact you did so many classes in one year is blowing my mind

This made me so happy for you. I’ve been watching you for some time now and hearing that you’ll be at BU is so exciting. This year I applied to undergrad and was hoping to get into UChicago and I did. However, after a lot of contemplation I chose to go to BU for my next four. It’s so amazing to see you grow and I am beyond proud of you! ☹️

What was it Shakespeare said? "Parting is such sweet sorrow!" Maybe a little out of context but it seems appropriate. So, goodbye Chi-town, but no worries. Welcome to your 2029 5 year reunion!

Wow Makayla, Congratulations!! 🎉❤ I'm so happy for you! 😊 I watch your videos since last year and I love your content! 😍 I also have my graduation this summer, in July. I study Social Management in Austria and will have my Bachelor's Degree (if I hopefully pass my oral exam😅😅) It's always super interesting to watch your videos and learn something about the American Education System ☺️ I wish you all the best, especially for your new start at the Boston University Law School. I'm sure you'll become a great Lawyer! 😊 I will also start a new chapter in autumn, studying Controlling, Accounting and Financial Management for my Master's Degree 😊 Greetings from Europe 💙🤭

I want to add that, while it would inspire, there is absolutely no requirement that she does speak about her ED. We don’t know where she is in her journey and talking about it can be very triggering.

Awesome video Makayla! I read Babel a couple months ago and only a minute or so-ish into your video (whilst you were exiting your dorm to go to the dining hall) I was thinking about how just a few months ago your vlogs were just you running around in the cold with your hands freezing off and I literally thought of Robin Swift and his days at Oxford and how cold the winters were for him but also how calming and serene the springs were (seems as such for u aswell). 2 seconds later, you literally put the book on the table! I was shook for a second and I wanted to share this with you! Hope you have a great day ❤

The whole explanations in the video were very very practical and helpful. I enjoyed watching your video til the end and I could find Creative Writing major is quite different from other ones and the reputation of it and the skills that I can get depends on the colleagues I meet and my own writing skills. Such an interesting major, which seems like a perfect intellectual journey, unlike banal theoretical majors. But still I have some questions. Can you answer some of them, if you have enough time? I'm an English teacher who majored in English Education in Korea and is thinking about getting MA in Creative Writing in USA few years later. I want to hone my English to a native level to be a more professional teacher and a future writer. I'm 29 and I'm a male. There are two options that I'm thinking about after graduating from a graduate school there. 1. Coming back to Korea and continuing the career of a teacher and being a bilingual writer. 2. Trying to be a magazine journalist for introducing Korean cultures or dealing with issues in Korea in magazines in USA. Here are some questions and I will be so so thankful if you can answer some of them! 1. As an international student, do I need to master English "in advance (nobody will give feedback for grammar or wrong word choices)", or can I do it "through the courses" 2. Can an international student seek for the opportunity to get a job as a writer after the graduation? Or do I need to expect to come back to my country after that? 3. I think you meant to describe courses in creative writings are quite "spontaneous" comparing to other ones because "feedback' and "examples of good writing" are the major topics for most of seminars and workshop. Did I understand it correctly? 4. Are there many "theoretical exams" like other majors as well? Or only few? I just want to get much more feedback for "My writing" not compressed tips or theoretical knowledge for writings. 5. Do professors proactively give feedback and connect students to publishers/magazines etc or does it depend on each individual's own effort?

Hmm. I did not know of Ruth Baulding, so this is a real gift . How much earlier is this prequel to the prequel than "a long time ago in a galaxy farm far away"? Must not be to much earlier judging by the characters you mentioned! Have had a lot of fun with Star Wars over the years, including the Star Wars Convention here in Chicago a few years ago. As for the movies, I still think one of my favs is Rogue One. And now, in terms of the Star Wars storyline, are you ready for The Acolyte in two weeks. And to make the discussion relevant to matters at hand (Law School), let me just say, MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!!!

you can do just as well at BU. Make those connections, make sure to get internships and convert one to long term employment. It totally makes sense to choose a law school closer to home so don't feel bad about your decision! Money is also not everything, family matters, comfort matters because sometimes Big Law isn't even what you want to do!
