If only Tissot release these in smaller sizes like between 35 to 37mm. These are still too big!! They could even do the smaller sizes as handwind versions, still COSC please. The smaller version of the small seconds should be at 37mm and also be a central seconds instead, and that would appeal to enthusiasts looking for an alternative to the Tudor Tuxedo or the UG Polerouter for the looks

I don't know why you are referring to this watch as "The Willard", Seiko don't. It's the SLA 033 that is the 1970 reissue, not this model.

i just tried this watch on at my AD. i too was concerned about it's 42mm case being too big. side by side with my gmt it was barely bigger.....it wears small for a 42mm watch. all the videos make this watch seem like it's a behemoth on wrist

Instructions say that the movement allows for turning the hour hand backwards, which also rolls back the date, eliminating the need for a quickset date.

Yeah, I don’t see it on the Seiko Canada website either. I just hate it when Seiko silently discontinues non-limited watches so quickly. The good thing is that there are still a fair number available at Seiko dealers.

@@dogpoundsyndicate_mv Bearing in mind manufacturing fakes is a crime so you are dealing with criminals, if you still want to o through with it, fly to China or Turkey and examine them with your own eyes, or failing that go on a personal recommendation from someone you know and trust who has allready made a purchase from a particular company, so you can examine it yourself. Definitely not some random comment online, otherwise it will always be a gamble. Are you sure you have the horological knowledge to be able to spot a decent fake from one that will stop working in a few months? Do you know a decent watchmaker prepared to work on fakes when it stops working? Would it even be worth fixing? Anyway, who are you trying to impress? When people inevitably ask about your expensive looking watch, what's your strategy? Lie or laugh it off?

The price of the fakes shows that the mark up on the real ones is too high. The price of the real ones is over-the-top and artificial. With the clone you get a fake watch. WIth Rolex you get a fake price. Both are fakes.

Today, I just found my 1975 timex mechanical snoopy watch with a floating woodstock second hand. My first watch when i was 3 years old. It probably hasn't been wound in 40 years but I carefully wound it and it runs perfectly.

I own 2 authentic rolex and I’m glad that super clones are overtaking the market…ADs are the first scammers, sell the watches to unauthorized dealers instead of real fan who want to wear the watches. So if you want to wear a Sprite ($12K msrp), you can’t because the waiting list is 8yrs 😂 or you have to pay $26K on the gray market. That’s why a lot of ppl is opting to buy super clones.
