1:38:06 i think you are not completly right on that... when enemy does not have vision on you, the vorpal blade is also not visible. thats why in some games, when you have an enemy shen, the vorpal blade just appears out of nowhere, because someone or something randomly spotted shen nearby

The more he talked, the more I understood why he's stuck in iron/bronze. Like Alois said, he doesn't adapt to each game, he picks a strategy that has worked at least once and doesn't change it for any reason. That might seem like a great strategy on the surface level, but it's actually pretty bad because if things go slightly wrong then his whole plan crumbles and he forces plays that won't work for the sake of the plan or misses plays that do work but don't fit his plan. Part of playing League is learning to read and adapt to the opponent to find a strategy that counters what they want to do both in the micro and macro sense in a way that leaves you with as much gold and XP as possible. At the iron/bronze level, the enemy is trying to kill you and greed for minons and tower plates. Punishing that kind of play is actually what a champions like Urgot is really good at, but he has to learn what he's punishing and why before he'll start to do it intuitively. He is playing to not lose instead of punishing the mistakes the other bronze top laners are making, and they are making a lot of mistakes that can be punished. Improving at League ultimately involves learning what mistakes can be made, and what can be done to punish those mistakes while not making them yourself. Those are the fundamentals of League are, all the mistakes that you shouldn't make.

as someone who’s only master and a riven main lmao I might completely butcher this… id assume not, riven doesn’t have the sustain that aatrox has, so in turn we need to “kill fast” per say I almost feel as if it’d be the opposite for aatrox

I would say Aatrox does better with lethality when he has clear kill threat in lane or there's value in picking off back line champs with flanks in team fights. There are players that just go lethality pretty much every game because they like that kind of play style. It can sometimes be really useful to go bruiser when you already have back line threats with other assassins on your team either mid or jungle. It allows you to be a strong front line and give time and pressure for your team to apply their damage. Stacking too many lethality champs can make late game really rough as the burst damage starts to fall off.

Same situation I get playing Jarvan Mid, usually if enemy team has 2+ melees I go bruiser, if 4 or 5 rangeds I go lethality, also I like thunderlord with lethality instead of conqueror

5:03 Jarvan did indeed NOT go for scuttle but in the literal second Alois pinged for help he SKIPPED his gromp while he was almost half way done and went straight to toplane. meanwhile my junglers wouldn't skip a camp if their grandma was dying.

@@SerVuS23 W gives you more than you think. Its only 40 less flat at max lvl, by levels it decrease cooldown and silence duration. It provides better wave clear (W and 2 autos with E) instead of Q on ranged minions and auto all the front ones. 0,4 sec silence is a big deal, it makes window for you and your team to deal more damage for you to execute the target with R. Hitting Q againt target with tier 2 boots is pretty incosistent, so you can insure hitting it after walking up with E, hitting silence and the hitting Q for cripple. I am 80% wr chogath master player, it is better. Q does not provide you anything for maxing it second as a tank.

@@SerVuS23its more reliable to hit and silence is one of the most broken debuffs in the game. You talk about the q dmg and cooldown under the assumption that you actually hit it, which you wont much after you have reached a certain elo. Only downside on W is that it was buffed so its technically less rewarding to max it after its lvl 3.
