The way ranked system is, is so bad having placements matches every rank they will mostly have sum improvements since the game is fairly new

@@50loaded50I am now up to Diamond 3 despite what I said yesterday. The problem I have with the placement matches is that you don't play just until you have enough RP, you play sequences of five matches, even if you earn more RP than you need to attempt a rank up trial. That gets real frustrating to be punished by playing minimum five matches again if you fail a rank up.
