Amanda Bynes was the it girl and someone I genuinely admired when I was a kid. Unlike her contemporaries, her charm was her humor. No other it girl in her department at the time had humor. That’s what made her stand out.

Fun fact: Sarah Jayne Jensen plays Shelley in the movie while in the Broadway production she was played by Shoshana Bean, a Broadway Elphaba. Another Shelley/Elphaba I know is Donna Vivino. Srsly, why can’t they get someone who has or not played Elphaba on Broadway for Shelley? I was thinking Lindsay Mendez.
