I notice the tall yellow hotel didn't suffer hardly any damage. Whatever type construction that is should probably be used in homes. I know it's probably way more expensive, but wouldn't it be more cost effective as opposed to rebuilding homes every 5 yrs or so? I would also think insurance rates go down if homes were more substantial. I would rather have a small, well built, substantial home than a mini mansion that's going to easily fall apart.

@@sahebplays3589 That's me! Canton only got me down for about 48 hours and then I was back at it haha. This year's break is from a lot of life happening outside of storm chasing. I'll be back at it eventually. I just realized I had a lot of stuff to work through that was being neglected by a rigorous chasing schedule. It's hard sitting a season out, but I've already seen the benefits.
