I think there was a reason behind the 'unwinnable' 3 minute timer on the traps - on the phone with Cecelia, she said she had an opening in 3 months. John said he didn't have three months. To him, 3 months (or 3 minutes) was a generous amount of time to have to deal with the panic and pain and horror of imminent death.

Y'know at first I thought that the scheme of the "oh but they were just on second away from winning!!" Was a bit bogus by how often it happened in this movie, but seeing as it was John giving them false hope cuz that's what they did to cancer patients made me actually appreciate the little theme!!

Holy crap I didn't even know there was a mid credits scene. I was hoping the black guy finally made it out this time.

Yeah this might be my favorite Saw film. As my favorite horror franchise, I'm glad this one was so well received and that it made a lot of money! Also I thought the see-saw was pouring out some kind of oil or just dirty water.

This was my first Saw movie and I fell in love and wanted more. But Imma be honest guys, the rest of the Saw movies I’ve seen (1,3 and Jigsaw) suck and aren’t the same as what I fell in love with cause Saw X was so good

Someone once pointed out that 3 minutes could have also reference the time John himself had left prior to the fake operation. He had what, three months? So it makes sense he'd make it symbolic in that way. Of course they're having to rush against the clok, that's what he has to do. He was putting them in his shoes. Was it personal? Yeah, but I liked how unfair these traps felt with that time limit a lot more after I read that comment back on tumblr after I saw this movie.

This movie makes me want more John and Amanda movies, rather than shoehorning them into a movie 10 years after they died

I disagree with not liking the dream sequence traps because the trap was still really cool and for stealing a little watch I don’t think the dude would’ve deserved that shit 😂. I’d like the traps more if it was really shitty people in them but sometimes it’s just some bullcrap where they were like there’s a smoker and now they’re gonna have their lungs crushed cuz they smoke or some crap like that

, I really enjoyed this movie, it adds a lot of depth to the character of John. And I have to say even the emotional moments with Amanda and John we're absolutely beautiful. We really see bond between. Even seeing them both cry and embarrass each other was sad . It's been awhile since I've been hyped for a movie . It comes out on Blu-ray on November 21 . I can't wait to buy it ❤

Love the video and this movie. I'm just glad it did so well that it was able to reboot the franchise...I thought this movie was great but honestly was not a fan of the ending. Only because if you have seen any of the other movies you know EVERYTHING Kramer does is calculated. Amanda leaving the cart in the middle of the room and even allowing them a chance to grab that phone was so intentional, that as soon as Parker showed up I knew how it would turn out. This is THE ONLY saw movie that I've actually predicted the ending and wasn't shocked at all by the twist. Simply because of how easy and laid out the phone is right in front of them...and just also knowing the fact that John wasn't about to die on that trap made it less intense but a good scene none the less. And I think its a bit ridiculous that the MAIN Person behind the scams is the only one who gets to live at the end? Only makes it better if they continue her story in the next film and actually put her through a real test
