Hi ! My friend ! Can you check out something for me , it's about the esc and the motor conection . There is three wires on the motor ( black, red, yellow . On my glider they put the yellow to yellow , black to red, and red to black ! Normaly it supose to be yellow to yellow, black to black, and red to red ! Can you check the wires on your glider ! And please let me know if it's the same on your glider ! Thank you ! ✈️👍

Hi. It dosent mater. If the prop spins the right way your ok. If not just change one of them. Yellow on black etc etc 😊

The esc can be reversed by program then you may need to change wires. But colors arent important. On brushless systems. Ps check rotation without prop. Safety first

Hold the plane vertical with full throttle, it will tell you if your too lean.

I swapped the motor for a Badass Motor and ESC. Flew F3A in England in the mid 80's. Learned under the supervision of Terry Westrop a well know F3A Pilot and designer of the "loaded Dice" design! I enjoy flying this plane with great memories of the past and my youth.!

Interesting - and better video than most. A question to Arctic RC flyers from UK RC flyer: what do you think is a practical minimum temperature for flying with glow motors? I think about 5C - below that fuel gets too thick - and hands too cold!

Well we fly them down to minus 10° celsius. But we sometimes use a battery heat gun to warm them before starting them.

I would recomend Spektrum radio. Like NX7 or 8 as a first radio. I am using it as a trainer plane now for a new pilot.

I have been flying the Eflite version of this plane for 5+ seasons. With the flaps down and full throttle it is airborne immediately, even on 3S. Poor ground handling but its manageable.

@@ArcticRc det går helt sikkert, bare ikke så sannsynlig at en ny RC pilot forstår det. Synes det er dumt å ikke legge med en 8 kanals på dette flyet her. Revers er jo så kult men også praktisk, for nesten ingenting mer penger.

Hello, I just installed the lights and hooked up the aux channel to channel 5 of the futaba receiver. I use 5V battery for my receiver. I assigned channel 5 to switch F of my Futaba transmitter. I was able to program the ight controller by switching switch F. But after certain time my receiver brokes up. No signal was transmitted anymore. My reciver only passes the current but no signals on the outputs. I tried another one and after couple of minutes I had exactly the same problem. So I broke 2 receivers ! I can not understand how this is possible. Can someone help me please ?
