how Matt talks about how they are normal people. The truth is, there is no such thing as a normal person (i always strongly felt that way) Not all people coach soccer (not even close). Most people do shop (however some famous people just pay someone else do it for them. kinda like with doordash). some kids (especially middle schoolers) take the bus to school and home (so not all parents take their kids to school or pick them up). I'm surprised Matt would say he takes his kids to school, because his youngest kid is 16 and his other 2 kids are already old enough to be in college.

Obviously the LOTR trilogy would be nothing without Tolkien, but it is undeniable that the people working on the movies just cared so much. It carries through and has made the trilogy essentially timeless. Not only did they do their best to preserve the heart and soul of Tolkiens work, but they also added several more layers of it. It is such an important thing while adapting such masterfully done work. Changes will HAVE to be made, but you support it by clearly showing that you do not do so for no reason. There can be no doubt while watching them that Tolkien is in there, and his legacy is preserved on the big screen.

I don't favor Arcs, rather the character's stories. Robin having her mom and everyone she knows murdered, and being hunted as a child, When they met Brook and his devastating story losing everyone he cared about, and his devil fruit that made him 50 years older than the rest of the Strawhat crew, Sanji's incredibly cruel childhood and what an awesome man he became despite his history, though I think his sister deserves a bit more credit for being a decent human because she tells him his worth concerning her and his mother, and sets him free from his prison, telling him where the key is, and taking him to a ship to escape. You can see she truly cared about her little brother but did not want to be abused as he was, and truly you can't blame her being a child and going through the trials put upon her, for having fear like that and protecting herself... she still did what she could to help her brother, yet keep herself safe, very clever, but that's survival... Zoro losing Kuina was so heartfelt because he was the tough guy who actually let someone in, but then in losing her shut himself back down. Nami losing her mom right in front of her being so traumatic. What's super sad is that Luffy seems to have absolutely zero feelings about his own parents!!! Never bothers him his dad abandoned him, or whatever happened to his mom is never questioned, like he doesn't even care and that's just NOT normal! I feel sorry for him that he never had a parenta love and his grandpa even dumped him off on people. No wonder all he knows is fighting and having no interest in women but holding on to his childlike state because that's his self preservation and all he knows. When he admitted to Ace he's less lonely with him in his life it really gets you deep because it's the only time Luffy ever admits to how traumatized he truly is. Franky's parents also dumped him, Usopps only parent dies in front of him... ALL tge Strawhats lost parents, except maybe Zoro, who never mentions his parents, seems to care about them, etc, but someone takes care of him and must have paid for his lessons...
