It’s not if you cut them . A quick weave shouldn’t be tight or uncomfortable. Using 2 caps prevents glue from seeping through .

Are you able to still wear this style in a ponytail or half up half down without the cap showing on the sides? I have fine hair and my hair cant withstand the weight of locs so this option would be great if i can still wear it up. I got kids were always on the go lol

If you have fine I don’t recommend doing this style . That’s too much tension on the integrity of your hair .
