It was satisfying for Peter to look into the goblin's eyes when he stabbed him in the neck. In just that short moment he was in a great deal of pain, he saw that he lost to Spider Man a 2nd time and he was turning back into Norman never to do evil again

There's a flaw in my story which where i stayed with the original movie about how atman was only trapped for 5 hours when in reality in real time it had been 5 years. Ignore this plot hole and just replace the 5 hours which I still messed up and said 5 mins lol. Replace it with 20 days have gone but for him it only felt like 7 seconds. Somewhere along those lines, you guys know what I mean lol

I like that idea. If you seen the Incredible Hulk movie, even when they cured Bruce it still didn’t work. I relate that to this because what if Norman Osborn simply cannot be cured. That would definitely differentiate him from the rest of the villains

@@derekdavaughnnI'd like to add the fact that the Greeen Goblin should be seen as the most extrême and darker side of Norman but it's still a part of him. It's argued by many that the Goblin is Norman's defense mécanism to protect himself everytime he's in danger. Let Norman be in a difficult spot should he survive and the Goblin may well return.

@@french907 Even if that's the case, without the super soldier serum in his veins anymore he's not nearly as big of a threat. Even if the Goblin is still in there, he'd just be an old man in his 50's-60's. Not a super soldier able to take on Spiderman in a fist fight and win.

It could just be a case of Norman being the one who saves Peter from Venom rather than Harry. Or Norman notices very quickly that Peter (with Venom) is behaving very much out of character so he begins to investigate and figures out what's really going on and manages to separate the two safely while also capturing and containing Venom, and then he possibly turns Venom over to S.H.I.E.L.D. (specifically, to Fury) where Venom would later bond with Flash and become Agent Venom. After all, Norman himself clearly views Peter like a son. So he would absolutely step in to help Peter if not for the Goblin messing with his head.
