I definitely do enjoy reading as a coping strategy. I am reading Laziness Doesn’t Exist by Devon Price PhD - about how current work culture of overwork in the west is actually less productive, and harmful to our individual and collective health. It’s rough when I am in a state where I really need to cope, but when I try to read my brain can’t comprehend anything and looking at words hurts my eyes.. that’s when it’s a nap instead ! Even if I don’t sleep, just have to minimize stimuli

Glad you enjoy reading. Yes sometimes less stimuli is called for. Glad you know what does and does not work for you. Thank you for commenting!
