Thank God you're OK. I cook my cabbage that way as well. Your dinner/lunch looked delicious. I'm glad your Grandson comes over to help. Praying you get through strength and ENERGY to do what you need to do. For me it just takes getting started then the day goes by fast and the day light runs out. It takes me 4 hours to cut the grass/lawn now. Used to take 2 hours. We'll it still gets done. Sorry about your garden hope you can salvage some of it. ❤️

We were blessed up here in the panhandle. We were expecting thunderstorms and tornadoes. Not that the hurricane hits us here ( I used to live in Galveston when I first started my career as a nurse, almost ten years ago) but it changes our weather patterns up here and we normally get tornadoes. No tornadoes this time. Just a little rain. We had very cloudy skies and a temperature drop for a couple days down into the 50’s and 60’s. Which was a relief from the 100 degree temps for a couple of days. Lived in Galveston in the 1990’s. For about ten years.

As a single senior living alone, I would love this!! Good protein because of the cheese. I would make an appetizer tray like in the restaurants and a salad. Make the fried cheese, possibly some deep fried ravioli, dill pickles fried, and some deep fried zucchini. And download a couple of movies along with a 2 liter bottle of diet Dr Pepper. I would have marinara sauce and some ranch dip made in sour crème. A total splurge meal. But right now is veggie season. Let’s go for it. If I lived near you we could have a girls movie night. But actually, I would have to get together on another night for coffee and cake ( I could bring the cake, you make the coffee). And let’s have a wonderful prayer time, and singing praises to the King!!!

I've never tried fried pickles, boy they looked good! Those Mozzarella Sticks look fabulous and double dipped, that's the best. We've been praying for all you folks affected by the storms. Please pray for Oregon it's burning down, so much of our forests are on fire.

Oh, I love both. I’ve never made either one, but, I should because my grandchildren love them. The first time we had fried pickles was in Great Bend Kansas in 1979 at a Sonic restaurant. They called them “Pickloes”. We loved them. 😊
