It’s nice to visualise that run as I’m going there next month but not sure how experienced you are at snowboarding? A lot of wrong body movements going on there. Still, good to see the run and glad that you’re having fun.
@MarcusDorsey6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. I don't consider myself an expert, and all of this was unfamiliar territory, so I admit I was pushing a lot of snow in trying to be cautious. I'm hoping to get more comfortable with steeper terrain sooner to make cleaner carves.
@michaelcurtis43026 ай бұрын
@@MarcusDorsey that’s awesome man. Keep on pushing bro and enjoy your snowboarding. Really enjoyed the video as it gave really good insight into the mountain for me. It was one of the best for the actual terrain that I’ve seen. Keep up the mountain content.

Brunt stew trail looks Beautiful but that Struggle with Snowboarding on the last Stretch of that part looks like a real Struggle when I look at just skis may be a little easier if they have right Technique but for Skiers looks like a nice easy run for those who are comfortable on Gentle stuff but they should say may not be recommended for snowboarding I can see the struggles harmony ridge or some others may be possible for Snowboarding I don’t Snowboard I just use skis can you get to Harmony ridge trail from Matthews Traverse. I haven’t been to Whistler Blackcomb yet

Snowboard beginner here, I was already comfortable doing some step blue runs on whistler but the flat part of this run just destroyed me, caught so many edges, got stuck, people passing by, it was a nightmare 😂

Great video! I am about to go to this same place in two week or so. first time!!
@apeekintime7 ай бұрын
Might be going here in a week. Struck me how they had mostly blue runs and no long greens... but this is really just a green run. Noticed that the midwest likes to label their green runs as blue and their blues runs as black. I know runs are graded mostly based on slope but this seems more gradual than any green (outside of the learning zone) that I rode in Aspen.
@MarcusDorsey7 ай бұрын
Yeah, the runs are only labeled in difficulty relative to one another. You should expect much more mild runs compared to any major resort.

We couldn't do Whistler peak this March break. All three days the visibility was poor and they were bombarding avalanches from peaks until 11 am every morning. Went to Blackcomb instead. Cool and scenic too but shorter. Thanks for your video!
