people say 48 are too big for a 2180, an engine will only suck the amount of air and fuel it needs to run, if u are flooding out, its human error.

True that. Different size jets you can fine tune the 48s and I’m also running a afr meter.

long story short, i have a 64 ragtop with 2180cc and i moved to Missouri with it, got laughed at by all the good ole boys was V8s, tell i started smokin their @sses.. lmfao. sweet @ss Bug bro.

Had a 71 with a 2180. The seat came off upowershifting. Pulled right through, bolts washers and nuts.

Wright gear box pro street. 4.12 ring and pinion, .82 4th gear. Super diff,HD side plate,welded 3rd and 4th gears.
