my headcanon is dark water-via diodati not the same cybermen as nightmare in silver as diverent powersets and lack of cybermites and by association their use of cyberfactories means the ones used are prototypes and nightmare in silver cybermen come after the cyberwarriors [cyberwarriors incredibly bulky in comparison also kinda backed up by flux using those cybermen and being set in present day] but before the 8th doctor "the flood" cybermen

I akways imagined the Cyber mondans being the Americans of Mondas and the faction being the Chinese The faction are way more interested in uniformity than the mondans, rather like communism With the mondans being individualistic almost greedy, what with Americans plundering poor counties for oil a la draining energy from earth

17:52 wait the toy maker killed god! Did I miss that line? Also, am I correct in assuming that the reason the faction paradox books and audios don’t have to change? Sutekh’s name is because he’s a mythological and a solidly public domain character? I’ve been led to believe that virtually everything else from Doctor Who that appears in fact paradox gets some alternative name to avoid legal issues. Also, do you think they would ever try to create an audio story but attempts to somehow reconcile all the desperate takes on Sutekh post the pyramids of Mars. Seems like a very Doctor Who expanded universe thing to do lol.

Because of how rights worked in television during the 60s-80s, I'm pretty sure they got the rights from the Robert Holmes estate so could use it, they do the same thing with the Sontarans. But Time Lords and other things are off limits due to rights. I'm assuming the BBC themselves just claimed The Doctor, the TARDIS, Time Lords, etc as the Doctor is their character, not Anthony Coburns (An Unearthly Child's writer). Big Finish have made a few stories, so I can imagine they might try and tie it all together, or maybe a book will be written. Who knows!

Another fantastic video ^^ I wonder if it's possible to piece each of the accounts together into a single timeline considering the non-linear nature of almost all of his returns 🤔 He did spend gosh knows how long outside of time and space as pure consciousness and even told the 4th Doctor in 'Kill the Doctor ' he'd come from his future after all 🤔🤔 Really enjoyed this, I love how you go the whole way in your research for these videos ^^
@Dray1

I'm sure someone could piece it all together just so that it works, we're not entirely sure he latched onto the TARDIS *Just* after Pyramids of Mars, so there is wiggle room for many stories.

This is not necessarily a question nor a statement, but towards the end, if what you say is how this is and he is a physical manifestation of the darker aspects of the doctor. You see him lust for Amy, not specifically well whenever he says you can be mine forever and that robe he was wearing the same thing

Funnily enough pre-Hartnell doctors are a concept that have been around since the second Doctor. We were meant to see a drawer in the Tardis filled with artefacts from other doctors after the second doctor appears. Plus the show is meant to change. Time lords and regeneration were added later on. Why not pre-Hartnell doctors?

Nah. It's only similar in the sense that it's Doctor-lite. Blink is fantastic. Mysterious, spooky, and tightly crafted so that by the end of the episode, it all made sense. That last bit doesn't apply to 73 Yards. It was fine, but leaves way too much unexplained.
