That's why i mentioned on 1 of your videos steve when you were talking about having a book about what happens to your stuff when you die You don't want to give too much information about yourself. If you had a heart attack or stroke and you had to spend a lot of time in hospital the person might use that book to empty your house and bank account. You could come out of hospital to find new tenants in your house because the girl you were involved with wasn't paying the rent And all your personal belongings gone. By giving people to much information you are supplying them with weapons and ammunition to use against you if things don't work out. Keep a secret bank account that only you know about don't tell anyone apart from your family back home. That way if things do go wrong you have money to start again or go back home.

Years ago an immigration officer told me that if you get a green card for your wife, it doesn’t belong to her, it’s yours. There’s many stories of the wife running away as soon as she gets a green card. You keep the green card in a secure location, such as a safe deposit box. Also, if you think that she might run away, you have up to 2 years to have her deported. The immigration officer said that you can say any reason why you want her deported. You could even say something like, I don’t want her here because her feet stink. I don’t know if that’s still true, or if the rules have changed.

It’s been rough for the last 3.5 years in the U.S so politics really matters and 4 more years of the same administration wouldn’t be good for Americans and only good for the illegals. This is one of the reason why I wanted I’m considering retiring early the Philippines

No steve someone can already spot and discern what would happen in the future. If you are an expat at your twilighlight years when your age is 60 and above and you enter into a relationships with very young women, in low educations, poor, no stable income ,with lots of family members, a bread winner, with no decent income for a living SURELY that relationships will end up in sorry state and ruined.

Hey Steve good advice. Say I was wondering about that nice guitar you have on your wall in your living room. If you go into the hospital does anyone have dibs on it?? Just joking.

If you’re old living with a young woman. Other than your bank account, nothing you own is of value. Everything is replaceable if you have money. I know many folks here in the US, they would kill for a meager $500 bucks. So if the expats goes to the Philippines 🇵🇭 with $2000 a month pension with no reserve on the side. You really need to look at yourself what if value really do you own that you cannot leave behind…

Regarding giving the opportunity at 8:40; I have told my kids over the years about this. An example wpuld be leaving a bicycle outside unlocked in view. This gives a person an "opportunity" to easily steal it than not. Its bad for the person stealing because it causes them to sin and for the person that loses the item. Dont give the opportunity to someone to do something they wouldnt have. Costa Ricans refer to this as "no dar papaya"

They need passwords and pin codes to do damage quickly so be careful who you trust and make sure they ARE trustworthy. If you get in a bad situation and the person who is supposed to be your life partner takes advantage of that, you've got the wrong person. There are bad actors in every culture. So important to make sure the woman you choose is of high character and watch what they do...not so much what they say. Choose wisely

LOOKING FOR THE GOLD: I had a foreigner friend that passed in the USA. His 10 realatives in his home country were notified and came to USA ASAP for the funeral. The 1st family that arrived on a flight stayed at the passed man's apartment where all his belongings remain. The 1st faimily locked all the doors to the apartment and refused to answer to anyone for 2 days while the other relatives started arriving at the airport and their hotels. The other families explained to me, that this 1st family locked themselves inside for the purpose of searching for any $ and were LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR ALL THE GOLD IN THE APARTMENT. The 1st family was inside going thru ever box, every item, all pockets of all clothes, looking for $ in the sofa, looking everywhere for any $ and yes real gold. This man was known to buy gold. END: 4 days later and everyone is flying back to the home country. On the last day, the 1st family took 100% of everything in the apartment and just tossed it literally on the curb at curbside. The landlord told me they really wanted the deposit back from the landlord before they flew back home. This was the first time in my life that I truely realized most material things are worth nothing, especially at the end of life.

I showed up to meet my GF's family. I ate lunch with them and rested my head on the table from getting no sleep for almost the whole 24 hour flight. I feel alseep, and got a tap on the shoulder from her cousin. He said something in Bisaya, and my GF translated. She said he was asking if I could buy them all (about 5 of them) beer. It was within the first 90 minutes of meeting them. I was likee, ahh man. Had I done that I know they would have asked for more later. I just shrugged my shoulders and looked the other way and my GF. She yelled at them for asking. Edit: I found an an Attorney off of the Philipina Pea, recommended to do a title search on a property. She was charging $3,000. That's more than in the U.S.

Yes - you need a board under the body to do proper CPR. Doubtful they even have O2 to give during the resuscitation. I will visit the Phils. and stay a little bit but do not really relish staying for good. The states is still top tier when it comes to medical care.

That is the sad side of reality in third-world country - the healthcare just sucks. My mother was hospitalized there and survived a major surgery. Good thing we have a close relative who works in the major hospital and knew the top surgeons. Any place other and she would have died. Something to think about for expats who think they will live there.

Do not give your Filipina access to things you are not willing to lose. With your money accounts, only give her access to one in which you alone have control of the funds coming in.

I'm not trying to hijack your thread, just trying to help and add to your video. Great topic. 1. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Most of us have it to some degree. 2. Lose weight. This is the biggest contributing factor. Get in shape (lifting weights and some cardio). 3. Diet. Eliminate sugar and reduce carbs. Sugar could be making you limp. It was a contributing factor for me. 4. Stop watching porn. Just stop. It's likely destroying your sex life. Save your need for real sex. This is the biggest problem guys are facing today. 5. Medication. Viagra and Cialis works well for most. I've heard Stendra works good and it's the newer one. 6. Gel. They have a rub on gel now (OTC). Something to add to your box of tricks. 7. Testosterone replacement. This is an issue for guys 40+. This was my primary problem and i fixed it. You can even do those six month pellets now. 8. Injections. This is if nothing else is working. Not a long-term solution. 9. Implants. I know someone that got one after he had to have his prostate removed. They last 20 years and they work quite well. So if you're 55, it will get you by till 75. If nothing else works, consider getting one. It's a big decision but a great option if nothing else is helping you. You only live once, so fix the problem! Just do it.

I know one foreigner over here in Negros, who tested his girlfriends before finding his wife by saying he had to go back to Germany for a couple weeks and gave them the key to his apartment as a covert test. of course, the first one pawned most of the things of value in the apartment while he was gone, failing the test. (the items were worth the cost of the test) he found his future wife did not touch any of his things while he was gone for a month though she had full access to everything. she told me her grandmother raised her never to touch anything that did not belong to her and she proved this conviction to her benefit. they have been married happily for years now with a daughter and her mother lives w them. Smart test if you are considering a life partner. Worth the cost of a few non-critical items.

I had a situation with a Filipina here in the United States. We had a disagreement, and while I was at work her and a bunch of her friends came in and cleaned out the apartment. Fortunately, I had photos of the apartment and all the items that were taken so the police were able to track some of it down. Of course, there were charges filed for burglary that amounted to grand theft, but what happened after that I'm not aware of. Whatever they did find went into evidence and I never saw it again so a major lesson learned.

All of the scenarios you've described (and others) are reasons I'll NEVER have a Filipina move in with me, give them any access to my possessions, any private data, or even marry one of them. The move to P.I. for a Filipina, or getting "serious" with one is just asking to have your own ass handed to you, so if you do you had better take serious security measures and protect/cover yourself well. Actually, I'm almost sure I'm not going to move to P.I. as there are just too many "negatives" there, and there are several other countries where security is not such a threat to you, and I'm just in a waiting mode, to see how all of the U.S. financial/Economic/political issues "gel", and the other conflicts in the rest of The World, before I decide on if and/or when I'll make a move.
