When doing the tentacles, how do you not get a gap when you do the 5 HDC cluster.. no matter what wool I use I always get a gap

hi! if you can't do the magic ring, then you could just chain 2 and then do 6 single crochet in the first chain!

Great Tutorial! Didn't use as much yarn as I thought so luckily I can make some more cuz they r just so cute! Very easy and quick for me to do and love that it is not sew for the little leg things!
