I have an app installed on my laptop using the official mail id. I tried to join a team meeting via browser (crome) using gmail Id. . But it didn't work.

I received a meeting invite from a person, is scheduled in my calendar, but how do i add another person Who wants to join too? im not the organizer of meeting

what happens if they sent it a week in advance? how do i know they are notified about my acceptance? the calendar does not show scheduled event,teams sucks!
