probably best to lock the car before attempting to take the rear badge off or would it be easier to remove the boot lid mechanism from the inside? my rear is chrome put the inside looks grey and thinking to get the mechanism painted matte black and the badge gloss black, so there is a bit of a offset , big fan of your videos, yourself along with a few others from the UK have inspired me to do some mods like this to my pepper (nimbuzz) grey polo 6R, gone with a gloss black theme, fully de-chroming the inside and out, recently replaced my 15's with the 17" boavista's, the wheels on this car in the video. classic rare wheels, loved them since the first time i seen them many moons ago, question regarding the wheels as i know their OEM for the polo's, as i had 15's originally, would it be best to get the suspension and brakes fully checked before putting them on?

Well done. A good route to go would be to put a high flow downpipe on and keep the muffler as is (maybe just add some tips) The down pipe will help with the flow, potentially increase your power (definitely with a tune) and it will give it a much better and louder tone aswell!! All the best

I agree with getting a nice aftermarket muffler than a delete. My car has the 1.6 and I’m also planning on getting rid of the resonator, but probably pair it with a good valvetronic muffler. Sound >> loudness, and I like the idea of being able to choose when it’s loud. I prefer to not to be a cop magnet, ha

how has long term use been with these tail lights? im considering to buy them for my polo but curious have thee been any sort of issues for example have they gotten loose, do they sit flush and the main 1 have any of the light shortage?

I installed these lights too, when I switch the lights on a warning pops up on dash to check both left and right light, thought it maybe just need coded but when I put fullbeam on both lights make a really weird buzzing noise anyone else had this problem?

Hi, recently installed these but the DRLs seem to behave the same as the main beam so switching between the two don't make a difference. Is this the same situation with yours by any chance? I just want to figure out if this is intentional by design.
