Type 1 diabetes is the worst. It is autoimmune and is life-long. Does anyone in your family have autoimmune disorders?

You knew she had Down's Syndrome and chose to have her. It meant suffering for her and you. You had a choice, unlike most of us, and I know you don't look back often, but do you really want her to suffer beyond your years?

Savannah! You're my long lost sister! I'm from FL and as obsessed with gators as you are ❤ what are the odds I can work with Gatorland or Gatorland Global from Cincinnati Ohio? I will do ANYTHING! Any job great or small, I LIVE LOVE LOVE GATORS! My favorite fact about them is their immune system and their ability to heal in nearly any environment. BTW If you name a Gator FL's Femme Fatale I will scoop gator poop for you for the rest of my life LoL I'm joking but also serious LoL ❤🐊Love, FL Femme Fatale #LongLiveAlligators

I'm unable to watch in it's entirety, but I want to commend you both for tackling such a sensitive topic. You're right, we need to be able to talk about our experience. As always, Maria's strength and beautiful heart shines through. 🌺🌺🌺

Wow what a topic for conversation! It was nice to hear that most Muslim women are approachable, I did not know that either. If I saw a hijab I would maybe smile her way, but never strike up a conversation. I guess growing up in our generation, we just didn’t know. It’s not an excuse, schooling in the 80ies did not have any Muslim focus; maybe 1 paragraph in a history book?! Watching this has given me permission to ask a woman with a hijab how her day is going or what age are her kids. Thank you for starting to educate me, & all who watch, that Muslim women are human beings, just like we are. I am a scientist & not really that religious... but I have no problem & respect those that are- sometimes even jealous of people that truly believe in a higher God and the comfort it brings them. I have had several medical issues & surgeries in the last few years and had Christians, Catholics, Baptist’s, Hindus & Muslims praying for me & I welcomed them all. What can it hurt to get the possible help from so many Gods? 💗
