My parents went to Nate’s show in Lexington. I asked my mom about the openers and she said first was a “big guy” who did well, then a “medium-sized guy” who did great. I told her the big guy was probably Aaron Weber who’s on the Nateland podcast. She then recalled and said, “No, he was the second guy! He was hilarious!” So huge shout out to Aaron on being the “medium-sized guy.”

We need an episode on sleep apnea. Considering Bed, Bath, & Beyond and “College Boy” both use CPAP machines and the other 2 could probably benefit from a machine, this would make for a fun sode. I also have sleep apnea, and like Aaron I earned it. I actually use a BPAP machine, it’s like a CPAP, but different. My machine changed my life!

I mow my yard, but I completely fuck it up. My neighbors watch me, mainly because I have a disabled child on my lap that is so excited to be there that he happy flap smacks the shit out of me. It's a whole spectacle. Suburban nightmare. My neighbors wish they could call the city, but it's technically mowed.

The guy asking about good names for girls made me realize that all of the Nateland daughters have what my friend calls "old lady names". I named two of my girls Cora and Stella, and that is when i was informed that those were old lady names. Luckily that seems to be a trend, and I personally love the names. Daisy, Eleanor and Harper are beautiful names as well. I can't wait to see the newest Nateland baby. It's been fun getting to know you all over the past 200 episodes. Horse Divorce lives rent free in my head to this day. And my two cents is that adding Dusty was a great choice. He's funny and his point of view leads to a lot of the best moments with you all.

The guy that mows my grass is my husband and he's a crazy mower. He will run over anything left in the grass, even if he is the one that left it there. Hoses, electric cords, phone lines, and one time a giant conibear body trap. Shredded the trap and flung it several feet. Did he get off the mower and pick up the pieces? No, he had another go at it to make the pieces smaller.

I remember seeing his first special years ago. Every time someone would ask me about the whereabouts of another person, I would answer: He is dead lady, dead! He shouldn't have been here. We shouldn't be here!!! Nobody laughed because nobody understood the joke. Such a waste, he is so underrated.

@@brianbatescomedy not sure, just noticing you pull the mic boom up frequently and it appears to be really tightened down, you struggle to pull it up, why does it slip,, Aaron's got his huge arm on his and it doesn't move,,, just an observation 👍👍

I've heard Nate say that it's fun to find a new comic and watch their career develop through the years. For me, Aaron is that comic. I saw him open at a John Crist show in Waco, TX (around 2019) and remember thinking he was good. I started watching Nateland around episode 3 because (at the time) Aaron was the only comic I recognized. I've since come to appreciate the comedy of Nate, Brian and Dusty but it's been special to see how Aaron's career has developed since that Waco show!

Hey, Bizwazzle & Gang! I am working on being funny with friends and strangers. I saw an open mic podcast based in Austin, TX (the one you're thinking of) and Harlin Williams was on it. He demonstrated a quick tip for one of the comics. It was the funny face after the punchline. It seemed dumb but dang if it don't work. If you say something mildly funny people may know what to do with it. But if you give'em the face they'll know they are supposed to luagh. Does the Nateland crew have any easy tips or tricks that you can add-on to a funny line? For example, one ya'll gave me before is asking folks for their sources. Take care, Jerimy R.

In reference to retail sales, like Academy Sports, most inventory is actually brought out to the sale floors in sporting goods stores. The “stock room,” isn’t much room at all. Maybe just enough to sort out a supply truck for all the departments in the store. Big companies went with the idea long ago, if it isn’t on the floor, how will it sell?

Nate may be checking into Hotels with pseudonyms, but the elder, more magical Bargatze is not afraid of the extra fanfare. While leaving Nate's show in G'Boro NC there's Stephen just standing at the exit ramp of the coliseum, by the tour bus entrance, beside a security guard with a bottle of water and a banana, like a guy waiting for his wife to come out of JC Penny at the mall. We stopped and took pics and told him how great the show was and he was extremely nice. I asked the security guard if Nate would be coming out and he said, "Oh No! He left in a motorcade with a police escort straight to the airport immediately after the show. Walked straight off the stage and got in a car and left." Meanwhile Nate's Dad was making dinner dates with strangers and almost getting run over by semi trucks backing into the coliseum because he's not paying attention to his surroundings. I can see where Nate's "none of this is lost me attitude" comes from.
