I have only ever worn my wigs behind my hairline because I have a short forehead and could never pull off the application. However, I don’t really leave my natural hair out. I am able to finesse it with just baby hairs and strategically placed Bobby pins.

@simonesharice are you still using this wash/shampoo process when getting boho braids? Or have you found that this compromises your actual braids and how they hold up and look (for us natural girls)

I do a similar wig application, except I leave out hair in the front bang area, not the complete hairline. Then I sew it down: nothing complicated, just a few stitches on both sides of my head, no knots and it stays on about 3 days. Your hair came out really nice. I'm going to check out Hairvivi. Good video
