I visited here during this past June and had a stuffed arepa that was the most wonderful thing! After reading some of the comments here I’m thinking I may have gotten lucky on my food choice that day.

Germans are persecuted in Camden....I am an ethnic German, British citizen, living in London since the year 2000, in Camden since 2008...I am constantly assaulted, burglarised, and called "German pig" since the Brexit...I have also received the sauerkraut in the letter...photos of which are stored by people in UK and Germany....those who persecute me seem to be blissfully unaware of the fact that German embassy is (according to German laws) here in London for all Volksdeutsche, regardless of nationality, in my case British... Dylan Moran said that "Germany is a toilet", "Germans look like pork scratchings", and the "German language is disgusting"...no one accused him of "anti-Germanism" cause there is no such offence in UK...I suppose that it was merely an "anti German sentiment", and British people are obviously allowed to voice their "sentiments".... It is time for the German embassy, OHCHR, the EU Court, and German media to learn that.....P.S. I made a screenshot of this comment and I'll send it to various places in UK and Germany...in case it gets deleted here, and post festum interpreted as "illegal" (unlike Dylan Moran's fully legal speech).

I'm a Londoner and can tell you that Camden Market is over-priced and over-rated, and that's true for food and shopping. It's designed to take money off tourists and off silly people who want to appear trendy. You can get much better food for half the price at other venues.

Thanks for the upload but glad to see some scepticism in the comments. This “food fair” is overpriced muck aimed almost exclusively at tourists. If you really must buy something then be sure to get the price BEFORE they prepare the food. If you are buying multiple items then be very careful that you are being charged correctly and that you get all your change if using cash. Remember, the rents are extortionate on these stalls so I can understand the vendors trying to squeeze every penny out of the punters. Sadly, this also extends to poor quality ingredients and I would avoid this place completely. There is a Morrison’s supermarket with a cafe, very near to here (By the Roundhouse). Go there if you want decent , good value food .

If you want the market experience then chose Borough Market, Covent Garden or - best of all - Brixton. In the square of lanes behind the main Brixton Road, edged by Electric Avenue and Coldhabour Lane you will find food heaven at a decent price. We Brixtonians are nice as well. 😉
