I went on a music produxtion course with Eclip, who knows Astrix. Although he makes his own music, he gets it mixed by someone else.. so, outsource what you struggle with. Its just easier..

for real? ASTRIX is not mixing and mastering his tracks? so he exports everything from each track as STEMS and sends it to an external studio?
@MOSMASTERING
@MOSMASTERING 5 ай бұрын
@hijsen4784 Yeah, I heard a lot of industry secrets over the years. If someone can do it better - then why not outsource it ? So I'm sure he knows how to create sounds and all the ideas, he can even mix to a degree - but people trying to get to his level aren't aware that he is outsourcing the mix and master to REAL professionals with ridiculous half million dollar studios.. I've done ghost writing for a lot of people.. some people that are famous have never written a track in their lives! I'm a mixing and mastering engineer predominantly though

@@MOSMASTERING yeah, in the analogue music-scene (I'm more into Metal and Neofolk or DungeonSynth) it is standard to get a pro for mastering - but interesting to hear that even an ASTRIX is not doing everything on it's own! It is a huge difference in being a musician, a composer and a sound-engineer - it requires a whole different set of skills and ears for each ;o)

@@MOSMASTERING bro half a million dollar studio? He aint mixing a plat record bro, hes mixing a psytrance generic track that will get 50k views. It is mixed by someone in a decent room who made way to many mixes and he knows a good psytrance groove by heart... It is not some freaking LA studio professional, maybe infected mushroom have that, not astrix.

Today there is so annoying music that is trying to get in psytrance. There is no melody at all , like it was before. There is no emotion in the tracks like before. I think that that kind of stuff dont deserve to be called psytrance. The Astrix and Talamasca are those who keeps oldschool psytrance alive today .

The truth is that Psytrans is popular because Israel is still missing the mark of being the chosen people holy onto Adonai we were meant to be, instead we're still dancing in the same pagan festivals like we did we the moabite women thousands of years ago, which also cost us a masacre back then, we're still behaving worse than the nations around us, just like we did when Joshua led us into the promised land and we ended up behaving worse than the nations we were supposed to destroy, dancing in pagan festivals, worshipping their gods, eating foods sacrificed to idols, etc. Now we call it psytrance, and it is still causing us our lives. Sad really.

While in Israel I asked this same thing to a taxi driver who happened to be very into the early ages of Israeli trance as an attendant, he told me basically they enjoy this music so much because is their way of releasing so much feelings after so many wars and stress, he said he even takes his children along with him to some open air forest parties, I went to see Infected in the Masada desert last year, I totally understood why they ( me included lol) enjoy this music SO much. Much love from Mexico to all Israeli artists and people into Psytrance in this special time

@@zedryelmeldrygor1070 Well that depends on what genre of Psytrance. Well sure, Israelis definately own a certain sound within psytrance, but many other cultures brought back Goa trance from India back in the day, and it developed from there. Just listen to the Scandinavian artists fx; Bitmonx, Hallucinogen, Freq, Gaudium, a completely different feel from Isratrance, or just look at the Germans; Neelix, Symphonic etc, again, completely different feel and sound, even though the basic formular is the same. And the list goes on.

@@85brink listen to the list of Israeli names from 0:15, they produce a whole range of music. For example, Captain Hook is further away from Vini Vici in terms of music than Neelix is from Electric Universe, etc.

@@marcellkovacs5452 Sure. There's a lot of different Isreali psytrance music as well. Just as well as there are nuances within the psytrance made in Hamburg.I have been listening to Goa and Psytrance since 1998, so I am well aware of the artists in the list. But that fact doesn't make psytrance invented by israelis in Goa.

The economic situation in Israel during the 1980s and 1990s played a significant role in the development of the country's technology sector. The Israeli Intel factory managed to double processing speeds, allowing Israelis access to modern computers and software synthesizers before many Europeans. This was particularly beneficial, as large synthesizers were prohibitively expensive at the time. Israel's do-it-yourself (DIY) spirit resonated with the DIY nature of the psytrance music scene. Additionally, IDF soldiers who traveled to Goa, India, during their vacations were exposed to the mysticism and peace prevalent in the region. This experience was highly valued, as it provided a much-needed respite from the tensions faced at home. The combination of these factors contributed to the unique development of Israel's psytrance scene.
