I believe it is justified due to the nature that the mashup isn't at all a official release, and probably will never be. If people want a better quality version then live, this is what they'd like. But if it was already done by Deadmau5 and released properly, not just done live as a fun thing for the crowd, then it'd be less justified.

Not to argue, but could you point out the part from THIS song that your little clip is supposed to be better of. And to be honest, I'm.. not sure which on is more "correct" or "deadmau5 authentic", but your clip has clear pauses in deadmau5 track where you've planted the daft punk sample. I'm sorry, but that's more of a remix, than the mash-up that I remember hearing. BUT I might be wrong.. hell - if you did that, I think both of you're good.. just damn. Why fight about it.

I'm sorry, but I strongly disagree. Not that I'm here analyzing the track; I'm actually high and drunk, but to me this sounds oh SO RIGHT right now. Not to step on your opinion as I'm not here to offend, but in my opinion this version is VERY true to the live set deadmau5 does, as I've listened to it COUNTLESS times on a crappy live video (with camera recorded audio) and this right here brought in the quality to the sound I've been graving to hear.

Luckily, now that you brough this to "our" attention, we can give credit where it's due. And seriously; GREAT JOB. Just what I was looking for and to be honest; I haven't heard anyone pull it off better than you have right here.

Someone called "CrippDogg" has copied my mashup here verbatim and has just swapped the intro and outro. You can even hear when he sloppily cuts to my version because it's not on beat and a higher bitrate. What irks me about this is that he claims he produced it himself, and is using it to "promote himself". You aren't gonna get very far in this world if you copy other peoples work...-.-

@imisterchris Looping 1 bar and cutting in daft punk doesn't count. That's not how deadmau5 did it live, there was a melodic chord progression and that's what I was cutting. You just failed to understand the whole concept.

@imisterchris I sorry "sir" that I couldn't provide a full 320kbps quality track, especially considering the fact that I ripped the source audio from a live performance, and that the track isn't even released yet. Maybe next time you should just call deadmau5 himself if you're not satisfied.
