Have to say Yohan Ramirez let the game slip, when it was a 2-1 deficit, kept walking guys one by one and it cost us, and the Giants kept scoring off of it, and a few basehits as well, just wasn't meant to be on this night.

Hopes and Dreams are all I have for Halos, keep an eye on the standings. Trade way those players we will still be the same team without them but build for the future.

Hey Gavin I agree no matter if we in the race for the AL West trade . Good opportunity to build up our farm system they way we competitive every year. Ward, Anderson , Estevez and only trade regnifo only if we get good return.

PETE Actualy, this is similar to Mike Trout. If you look into Trout's strike out rate the past 3-4 years, it is actually pretty high. What makes it seemingly bad is it feels like Trout is striking out all the time. I think this is because we expect so much from Trout that when he strikes out, it stands out. This speaks for any great hitter in that we expect them to hit a bomb or do something special every at at bat.

Great sweep of the Red Sox, happy to see it, I have to say I was a little worried about Evan Phillips, I was thinking not Detroit again, he got strikeout, but was putting guys on base, Dave Roberts had no choice but to take him out, turned out to be the right decision to replace him with Daniel Hudson.

How to lose Dodger fans--not remember John Smoltz's name, calling Smoltz "brilliant," and then say that Joe Davis is nothing special and a cornball. I've tried giving Fox a shot three times, hoping he'd get better, but I never can make it through an episode. Won't try again.

Robleski was absolutely cruising and Roberts pulled him and Ramirez promptly gives up 2 runs. I can't understand Roberts thinking.

We needed this series clincher to start off the 2nd half of the season after ending the 1st half on a bad note with the last 2 in Detroit with the blow 9th innings saves.

Shocked by Detroit two games in a row. A disastrous 1-5 on the road trip. At this rate, we might not even make the playoffs. smh. Meanwhile, the A's just won their series against those Phillies in Philly. Pulverized them 18 to 3 today.

Pete don't think you can blame Dave on this one, disagree with you there, got to put it on Evan, he was one out away, he's been known as our closer, gotta finish that game off, no excuse for it, unfair for you to put it on Dave, that's just wrong, there's times I get agitated with Dave, but this one isn't on him, it's on Evan Phillips.
@maxsmart895412 күн бұрын
Roberts is not the problem it’s at the top problem. You have a POBO who insists on implementing his analytics philosophy to everything including one inning reliever BS. He had Vesia pitch a 3 out 8th inning instead he brings in a AAA career failure and it goes to crap. Dodgers will not go beyond Division champs with Friedman meddling in the day to day field operations!!!
@tomallen583711 күн бұрын
I couldn't agree with you more and it's the last thing I said before Pete finished his post-game broadcast. Now of course, Yarbrough is pitching, and it's probably going to be a disaster here in this series decider.

Pete, i think you are way too hard on the Dodgers today. They were down early and battled back and nearly won the game. Far cry from yesterday where they basically laid down. Shohei also had some timely hits. The glass was half full.

I spotted that, couple of Philly guys were putting their hands and making it a can't see signal, like a taunt, I notice it. Don't know their names, wasn't able to recognize them, but I saw that reaction. That hurt though, with Andy losing track of the ball, not having focus on it. It was a tie game, we just tied the score, then Andy lost sight of the ball and allowed a triple, and eventually to go back up by 2 only to eventually lose by 1, that ball should've been caught.
@tomallen583714 күн бұрын
I just want to know who those two assholes were who we're making fun of Pages for losing the ball in the lights at the Phillies Stadium. Just first names .. You know, for when they show up here at Dodger Stadium.

It was so hot, that Will Smith and Bobby Miller Dodger jerseys were wet, though Bobby changed his, Will kept his on, the rest of the game, far as the game, just one of those nights, Kiki ended up pitching, got off to 9-0 start, and lost 10-1, just moving on to game 2.

Actually I wanted to sweep this series, but still a series win 2-1, maybe Dave knew that the series was won and decided to give Bobby Miller the day off, and bring in a rookie, but when I saw Dave's pregame announcing Justin from Triple A, I had an uncomfortable feeling, and felt Dave didn't care if we didn't sweep, but he had 4 strikeouts, which is pretty good, but what I feared happened, when he allowed two 2 run homers, personally I wanted to sweep, but Dave can do some strange things at times.
